I highly recommend watching the video I made above, heck even if you're not ready to buy and are just looking around. As mentioned in the video the only reason why I'm selling this baby is because I've got a business that's growing rapidly and honestly my priorities are shifting in that direction. I hate to sell it, believe me, I've always LOVED the Evora! And I'm glad I had a chance with her and her sibling the Elise. Both are amazing cars but the Evora is much more of a car than the Elise. I hope I didn't miss thing in the video but if you feel that I have, please don't hesitate to ask 864.828.1203 (call text email). Also, this evora has a salvage title due to a VERY small accident. I even have pictures of it before it was repaired and will happily give them to anyone that asks for them. The airbag light is still on due to two codes (see pictures) so I had it taken in to Lotus of Greenville (SC) and am waiting to hear back from them on the problem. However I've put A LOT of money into this car and its time from me to stop and focus on my business. With that said its time to let go and give it a new home. At about 4,000 miles my second gear started acting up so I went on lotustalk and found I wasn't the only one! Turns out the 2010-11 had a problem with the second gear and was later fixed in the 2012. Before the problem got worse I had the Lotus taken in to have the second gear COMPLETELY replaced alone with the shift fork and synchro. This process is NOT EASY and consisted of taking out the engine and transmission. It costed over $4,000 after everything was fixed. So do feel secure knowing the 2011 Evora you're buying has this problem fixed and updated to the new system! As mentioned above, this Lotus has lot of clean upgrades. Now I know that when it comes time to sell a car like this many people will take off all the upgrades and sell it as original. Now that's great and all but they are clean upgrades that can be easily taken off, so why not include them?? So that is what I have decided to do! I can tell you now you won't be disappointed with this Evora! And Please even if you don't buy this Evora make sure to get one and not a Porsche because those things are over rated. This Elan is a great drivers car.Despite being the only front wheel drive vehicle ever produced by Lotus, the handling is every bit as responsive as one would expect from a Lotus.There's plenty of information available on these cars with a simple search of the internet. They were extremely limited in the US and are commonly held as one of the best handling FWD vehicles to this day. I've owned this car for a little over a year and a half now and always garaged it.This is the only M100 Elan known to be in the US with the fully detailed interior. (Red striping on door cards and seat as well as red carpeting)Maintenance tends to be relatively easy for a decent home mechanic and parts are readily available.This car has aftermarket AVO fully adjustable shocks, aftermarket/upgraded front anti-roll bar joints, a replacement muffler, braided steel brake lines, new convertible top and a JVC CD player. Other than that, it's a stock vehicle. Convertible top was replaced just before I purchased the car and is in very nice shape with only a minor scuff on the rear vinyl.Both window motors engage well.Both headlight motors have been recently rebuilt and operate perfectly.Wheels are original, manufactured by OZ specifically for this vehicle, and have a few scuffs and residue from stick on wheel weights, but present well.Tires have plenty of life left (estimate 65% usable life)The car has a fresh oil change and coolant and brake fluid flush 3 months ago.I have the original parts catalog and service technicians manual as well as an indoor car cover that a go with the car. This car is absolutely reliable and I wouldn't hesitate to drive it 500 miles. In fact, I have, without a problem. I'm also willing to meet a buyer within a reasonable distance with a small deposit. There are a few small clear coat problem areas and rock chips around the bottom runners, but this car stands out and looks great with a little elbow grease and proper wash/wax.This is definitely not a show car, but it's a fantastic driver that looks nice, gets attention and is an absolute blast to drive.
