With a 1600 cc Lotus Twin Cam engine making 115 hp situated in a 1517 lb. car, you can see why these cars are so much fun to drive and have a near cult following. The 4 speed gearbox shifts very nicely and the four wheel disc brakes are working great. The paint is in very nice condition – better than most Elans you’ll see. There are a couple of stars in the hood that are not real apparent and common to fiberglass cars of this era. The interior is very nice. It has nice black wall Michelins on the correct center lock wheels. We’ve had a few Elans in over the years and this one feels very solid and drives particularly well.
