Absolutely none finer. I’m the 2nd proud owner for the last 3 years. Only 48K low miles. I have written several articles on my cross country excursions in this car on Lotus Elan Central forums. Most recently completing another 1,000 mile “trouble-free” trek throughout West Virginia this week! Last year, a similar 3,000 mile “trouble-free” trek throughout upstate Michigan. Clad in beautiful Norfolk Mustard, arguably the most beautiful color offered, the car runs and drives perfectly. Original body paint is excellent with no clear coat issues, no fading, no cracking, no damage. Original paint wheels also in excellent shape complete with OZ stickers! Equipped with accessory Lotus logo wheel center caps (I have original plain silver ones too). The car is completely original and unmodified with the exception of the desirable “Everest chip” that I installed last year. I have also replaced the original plastic sheathed shifter cables with A/B cables from Dave Bean. The original top is in excellent condition with clear plastic rear window and no fading or tearing of the black top material. All door seals and window/top gaskets in excellent condition. The brakes are original (no replacements or upgrades) and in good working order. Under the hood the engine bay is practically spotless and clean. Interior is nearly perfect with no rips, tears or cracking. Dash is excellent too. A/C blows cold and I’ve never had to service it. Regular oil/filter service is about all I have had to do with this nearly “maintenance-free” car. The two cam seal O-rings have been replaced (prone to seap). I have an accessory front black “Bra” that I never use, but comes with the car. An extra set of floor mats included. I have original Owner's Manual and original window sticker. The trunk contains original spare wheel/tire, jack and tool kit all untouched! The original owner, now deceased, was from Wisconsin. I bought it with only 33K miles on it. I have a copy of the clean CarFax report when I purchased it. Timing and drive belts replaced at 30K miles prior to my purchase. Everything works as original equipment with no issues. All electrics, lights, windows, etc., in perfect working order. Car needs nothing. Drive it anywhere without worry! This is the most civilized Lotus you can drive and one even your wife will love! It has creature comforts of air conditioning and ease of entry/exit without contortion. It has a large trunk and a convertible top! It was the only front wheel drive car Lotus ever made and comes with all the zip and handling that the Lotus heritage and pedigree can offer. This is one of the finest examples of the M100 known in the USA. Consistent winner at LOGs, British car shows, and other display events. This is the first public offering of this beautiful Elan. Regrettably, I need to “thin the herd” a bit and one of my collection must go. *********************** NOTE: I'm 6'6" and pushing 270 lbs. and I fit just fine, so you bigger drivers always wanting a Lotus, this is just right for you. Please remember that this is considered nearly an "antique" vehicle, being 24 years old. It is consistent with a vehicle with this mileage, age and use. Car is available for pre-bid inspections and I would always encourage and welcome this. I am proud of my 100% excellent feedback score and always try to give accurate descriptions so that there are no disappointments. I am open and receptive to realistic offers. Vehicle is listed "for sale" by other venues and media, so I reserve the right to terminate the listing at any time. Those with less than ten (10) or negative feedback history do NOT bid unless you contact me and communicate first, otherwise your bids will be retracted and bidder banned from further bidding. The winning bid is NOT a right of first refusal, but a commitment to purchase the vehicle regardless of anything, so a non-refundable deposit via PayPal is required within 24 hours of auction ending and arrangements to be made for pickup of item. NOTE: Will sell world-wide, but any and all shipping/transport arrangements to be made and paid for by winning bidder/buyer. 45+ detailed pictures here at this link: www.taylormadeclassiccars.com/m100slides.html

Of course I removed the driver seat to accomplish this and have padding installed on the bulkhead and floor. Very neatly done and easily reversible to original configuration. 1969 Lotus Elan S4 DHC *** See 60+ detailed pictures on my hobby website here: http://www.taylormadeclassiccars.com/greenelanslides.html *** WARNING: Chassis frame on this car has rust/rot on rear section and will need repair and/or a replacement. If that doesn’t bother you and you’re still up for the challenge, then read on… 1969 Lotus Elan S4 DHC (drop head coupe) “type 45” very complete project car with 68K miles. Motor turns (not frozen) and should run. Was parked in running condition back in 1981 into dry storage garage after water pump bearing failure awaiting repair and has not run since. One family owned since new. Equipped with Colin Chapman signature steering wheel, and has an added extra non-OEM water temp gauge. Roll bar is “bolted on” not welded, so it can be removed if desired. Has original Lotus factory workshop manual and glove box Owner’s Manual. Has rear antenna, but no radio. Electric fuel pump in trunk above tank. Pictures are taken with car dry and also wet to show vehicle lines, shapes and potential. Green paint is dull but appears factory original. Comes with spare in trunk. Interior has original dash board, dash pad has a crack, center console cracked as well. Minor damage/cracks in fiberglass as shown in pictures behind driver’s rear wheel, the rear bumper, the front passenger side under front bumper, and other smaller cracks, nicks, and scrapes elsewhere. Electrics seem in order as heater fan blows, door windows go up and down, interior light goes on, ignition light comes on, starter spins, etc. I didn’t check everything though. Car needs total nut & bolt restoration (chassis, interior, exterior, etc.). Car rolls freely and shifts into gears to hold car in place. Check pictures very carefully. What you see is what you get. There are some extra odds and ends parts included (starter, generator, air box, etc.). Comes with transferable clear open signed title from original family. Please remember that this is an "antique" vehicle 46 years old. It needs TOTAL restoration and is consistent with a vehicle with this mileage, age and use. Car is available for pre-bid inspections and I would always encourage and welcome this. I am proud of my 100% excellent feedback score and always try to give accurate descriptions so that there are no surprises or disappointments. I am open and receptive to realistic offers considering all that is included. 1967 Lotus Elan S3/SE DHC *** See additional pictures on my hobby website http://www.taylormadeclassiccars.com/67elanslides.html 1967 Lotus Elan S3/SE DHC (drop head coupe) “type 45” very complete running project with 98K miles on odometer. Motor runs, has twin Weber carbs. Interesting 2-blade fan, large wide radiator, 4 into 1 headers, front clear marker lights, has top irons only (no top, no rear deck cover), Colin Chapman signature steering wheel, has a “replacement” water temp gauge. Hood pins were used instead of under dash bonnet release. Chassis has surface rust, but appears solid with no structural integrity concerns, roll bar is “bolted on” not welded, so it can be removed if desired. Has “safety” knock off hubs and rare stainless trim “beauty” rings. Comes with clear open title and original Lotus factory workshop manual. Has original AM radio with rear speaker and rear antenna. Pictures are taken with car wet to show vehicle lines, shapes and potential. Red paint is dull and is a repaint of 25 or 30 years ago. Original color is white. One owner history back to 1988. Appears to have old fender lip repair (passenger front). Gas tank has rust holes so it will need repair or replacement. Comes with spare, jack and ratchet. Very nice rear lights. Interior has cracking veneer on original dash, and cracking on dash pad and center console. Car needs total restoration (chassis, interior, exterior, etc.). All hydraulics need rebuilding, car rolls freely and shifts into gears to hold car in place. Engine does run with no funny knocks, bangs or other strange noises, so I suspect no internal damage. I am not saying a rebuild won’t be necessary, but hearing it run was encouraging! Please remember that this is an "antique" vehicle 48 years old. It needs TOTAL restoration and is consistent with a vehicle with this mileage, age and use. Car is available for pre-bid inspections and I would always encourage and welcome this. I am proud of my 100% excellent feedback score and always try to give accurate descriptions so that there are no disappointments.
