I would work on some of his cars from time to time and he knew I had a special attachment to this Lincoln. He owned this car since the early 1980s. When he decided to sell a few of them he called me up knowing I would give it the care it needed. Since it was stored in a garage all of the time, the body, top, and interior is exceptionally preserved. Of course from sitting a lot the fuel had turned bad and some of the items needed upgrading due to age. I drive my kids around in my cars so I put forth much effort to make them reliable and safe.
