For your consideration is a 1951 Lincoln cosmopolitan. Has a flathead V-8, hydramatic transmission, hydraulic windows and power seat. The windows and the power seat work good . The speedometer works , but you have to get going about 30-40 mph and then it jumps up and then reads correct. The wiper motor has been rebuilt and they work very well .The heater core is not hooked up . I presume that it probably leaks but I am not certain. The rest of The gauges seem to work well .The car has factory turn signals that work very well . The car is still pretty much all original , it is still 6V positive ground , and it spins over slowly , But always fires right up . The interior is very old and dry, the headliner is missing in the door panels are cracked. The car runs and drives great! It does burn some oil however, and it does smoke some . It mainly smokes when you romp on it , Just driving down the road it doesn't smoke , or if it does , it is only a little bit . it doesn't foul any spark plugs. And it does have some small rust holes around the fenders and around the rear window. However it is not too bad , it's definitely fixable. The floor pans are solid , and so is the inside of the trunk. Has good title. Signed in all the right places I jut never transferred into my name . Previous owner can be contacted if buyer wishes to do so .This is a great unique old car for someone wanting to have a fun cruiser for the weekend as it is , or would be a good candidate for restoration .
