1967 Lincoln convertible:Runs and drives. Has been well maintained. I have 5 grand in receipts of recent work done in the last couple of years.Top works. It has been serviced and is fully functional. Windows work. It has powered vent windows also. Working factory AM FM radio.Even has a working clock. This car could probably be driven anywhere. It is garaged always. I am the second owner. PLEASE READ CAREFULLY!!! For sale;A 1962 Lincoln Continental Convertible.I purchased this car about 3 years ago. It started out as a shell of a car. It was stripped down back in the 80's to get repainted. Many of the parts were misplaced and lost at this time.It sat a very long time in poor storage conditions before I bought it. I have since bought a parts car (1961 sedan.) to use to put this back together.The car has gone trough major body work to get to this point. The rear quarter panels left and right have been replaced. The doors have been replaced. The front clip has had some patch work done to it. The interior is not the original 62 interior it came from the parts car.The original interior was badly damaged from vandalism and could not be salvaged. It was originally tuxedo black and white. This is no longer a complete numbers matching car due to all the parts I have had to salvaged from other Cars. I want buyers to understand that it is not completely numbers matching. I do have the clear title in my fathers name. Condition:The car starts and runs strong. It is a 430 with a two bbl carb. I have given this a tune up and cleaned out the gas and fluids and topped off everything with fresh fluids. Transmission shifts fine. Brakes have been redone. Shoes, wheel cylinders and lines as needed.Stops well. Body and paint work have been done. The Issues:It needs new wiring for almost everything.Most of the Gage's are not working or functional.Clock and radio are hooked up and operate.Windows are not currently installed in the doors, but I have motors , glass and regulators for this car.Top is disassembled and loose out side of car. Needs about everything.I Have top frame and some relays and a pump.Paint could uses wet sanding and clear coat.Tires are old and dry rotted. They hold air but unsafe for road conditions. The car Should be trailered.Tail lights need to be wired up. It is missing the deck lid, rear bumper, front hood. And some trim. I have the original 62 hubcaps that say "Lincoln continental" on them. Reason for selling: I have to let this go because I have some family issues and have to sell it. Buyer is responsible for shipping the car. Make sure to let whomever picks up this car that the top is uncovered. damages could potentially be caused by shippers or weather conditions that could occur during transporting.
