1996 Lincoln Mark VIII 8 LSC 4.6 Mark VIII LSC- Parts car or project car.... Trans dumped fluid and car skidded into curb, blew out tire and messed up one rear rim (see pic 4). Not sure what's wrong with trans. Motor was running when parked about 6 months ago, but it would knock on start up. I'll try to describe Good and bad the best I can. Please keep in mind this is an AS IS auction. Auction is for 7 days. Would like to sell it AS IS complete but if it doesn't sell I will part it out here on Ebay(If you see any parts you need). Car must be towed and buyer must make arrangements. Price does not include shipping. Car must be picked up within 10 days from sale date.Good Stuff :*Three 18" rims and low profile tires in great condition--one rim and tire damaged*Car was lowered approx 1 1/2" and is now on a reliable spring suspension*Has Very rare original LSC HID Headlight housings( $300-400 on Ebay used) and a custom conversion to DC HID bulbs= replacing a bulb or ballast is now only a few dollars. Instead of hundreds for a used factory bulb.*Just about every piece of the front suspension has been replaced and a aftermarket rear Sway bar was added=Car handles MUCH better than many Mark VIII's without the airbag issues. *Brake rotors are high performance -Drilled/slotted*Tinted windows*Trailer hitch, light duty *New battery *CD player is fairly new and has all the modern connections = USB Mp3 etc.*Custom computer chip (removable) programmed on a Chassis Dyno = increased HP, firm trans shifts, better shift points, etc.*Lots of good partsBad Stuff:*Blown trans or rear*One tire and one rim shot*engine knock on start up*A.C. works when charged but has slow leak, taking one or two $10 cans per summer.*Windshield washer fluid tank leaks(have a replacement, you need to install)*Gas gauge is not accurate/working properly*normal chips, dings , scratches etc for a car of this age --see pics for most, but some blemishes can not be seen in pics*Interior is in decent shape but musty from sitting-needs to be aired out
