Selling my 1962 Lincoln Continental. I just don't drive it enough so need to find it a new loving home. I have owned this car for over 15 years and I'm the 2nd owner. Originally bought new and lived in New Jersey until owner past and i bought it from his son. Completely rust free. 44,000 original miles on numbers matching 430ci motor and automatic transmission. Everything original except wheels, 2" drop front springs (custom made by eaton spring), and front disc brake conversion (original drum setup and associated parts are included). Can drive this car around the world with no problems. Have extra complete doors (no one re-pops parts for these cars) so you have spare everything. Rare Desert Frost color exterior and interior. Everything works. Nothing modified that can't be removed with no trace of ever being there (like the stereo). Have original unmodified package tray (we got a second one to cut holes for rear speakers in). Original spare, jack, manuals, literature, etc. Price is fairly negotiable so I will entertain all reasonable offers as i do need to find this a new home. THANK YOU This is a great 1964 Lincoln Continental Convertible and one of the remaining approximately 2700 that were manufactured and sold this year. These cars have been doing nothing but climb in value and popularity based on their incredible lines and the fact that they have been seen on television and in the movies. These cars are nothing short of incredible to drive and enjoy. It is a large car with a fully automated convertible top and suicide doors. This car was purchased from a gentleman in Michigan, it was in a dry barn with the rest of his collection for over 35 years. This another example of a car that came from out West, and this car is all original and has no rust or rot, it began life in California. The car has been repainted, but the paint is now faded and there are nicks an chips to go with a bent from passenger fender. Fortunately the body work does not involve the nose or front grill. The car has 48,118 original miles and is ready for 100,000 more. The car runs and drives, it shifts nicely, and stops nicely. The body is also in very good condition overall with no rot or rust. Please see the pictures. The power top, windows, wipers, all work. The interior on the car is all leather and in good condition as is the dash (not one crack), carpets, steering wheel and overall interior. Overall ready to enjoy and looks great. The prior individual took good care of this car, he just could not finish the project, but it was always garaged and is ready to drive. The car starts immediately, runs nicely, idles nicely, shifts nicely, and with some minor body work will be a stunning car. Bid, Buy, and Enjoy! We have replaced all brakes, including wheel cylinders, shoes, brake lines, master cylinder and new fluid. The brakes work great!!
