2005 Lincoln Town Car Signature Limited. Excellent condition. This car was sold new to a local individual in Florida. It remained there until it was traded in by the wife in 2016. It was a one owner car. I purchased it from a dealer there and had it shipped to me in Colorado. I bought it for myself. The reason I am selling it is the seat adjustment does not elevate the seat high enough for me to see well enough. I am of small stature and was unaware that the later Town Cars were not friendly for people of my height. The car was equipped with the following extras from the dealer who sold the car new: Landau top; chrome trim above the wheel wells; chrome trim along the bottom of the sides; and polished aluminum wheels from Lincoln that really spiffs up the looks of the car. These items added another $5,000 to the original list price of $45,000. This car gets many comments as it is one of the nicest looking late model Town Cars produced. The Signature Limited was the top of the line model for 2005. The mileage is very low for the year. It has fairly new Michelin white walls. It gets 22-28 miles per gallon which is excellent mileage for a large sedan. The 4.6 engine was an improvement from the 5.0 engine that preceded it--a lot quicker with improved gas mileage. The transmission in this model adds to the acceleration which is a vast improvement over the previous models of the 1980s. The color of this car is stunning and easily the best color ever used by Lincoln. It is a 3 stage production with a white undercoat, pearl color and final clear coat. The adverb most often used by those who see this car for the first time is "snazzy." The car is located Centennial, Colorado. Please call if you have any questions. Up for sale is a good driver quality '56 Lincoln Premiere. This car is a 3 owner car with about 122,000 miles on it. It's powered by a 460/C6 automatic. The 460 was rebuilt and installed in the car approximately 3 years and 5,000 miles ago, and runs very well and sounds good. Stock suspension and steering performs well. Mechanically sound enough to drive as a daily driver. The car has an older paint job that is still fair driver quality, but is showing it's age. If it were mine I'd repaint the roof, as it has some noticeable imperfections and is the easiest part of the car to repaint. The interior was recently redone by the owner. It is presentable and comfortable but not perfect. The chrome trim is very nice in the interior, and all the windows work. The car has a new professionally installed headliner. All the gauges work but the speedometer. This is a great car to enjoy while you fix the little things that need fixing. The car does not have any rust through, nor has it ever. It's a solid Colorado car that is in very good condition as far as the sheetmetal and structure is concerned. Starts right up and is ready to go as far as you'd like to drive it. It's a very reliable, solid driving car. I have tried to highlight the imperfections in the paint as well as the great overall look of the car in the photos below. This Lincoln originally came from south Florida and I have had the following done on it ......1. 75000 mile service includes new coil packs and plugs 2. New front lower ball joints and alignment 3. New power steering hose 4. Radiator flush 5. New rear brakes 6. New vinyl top old one was sun weathered The car needs nothing and it can be picked up and driven anywhere with no problems this is my daily driver till its sold . 73,000 miles !!!!! Leather seats ,all power windows, cd changer ,cassette player ,power front seats No rust ,no warning lights ,no strange sounds or mystery problems !!! The paint I would give a 8 out of 10 ,all chrome trim is shiny and not peeling ,the gold emblems are in good shape and I would say the car needs nothing except possibly a new radio. The radio doesn't turn on for a little while on a cold day but turns on after 10 minutes after driving . EVERYTHING ELSE WORKS!!! A/C blows cold and the heater will roast you . The car did pass Denver's strict air emission test in September 2016. Rides and looks exactly how you would expect a Lincoln too. I am selling my Lincoln Mark V Diamond Jubilee Edition. I have owned it since Oct 7th 2012. I bought it in California where it spent its entire life until I brought it to Colorado. I bought it with 78,000 miles and now it has 87,000 miles.(I have receipts for the car dating back to the 90's supporting the miles are correct, the title says miles exempt) The miles are low for the year, but not so low one would be worried about putting miles on a mega low survivor car. I drove it from California to Colorado(which was 1265 mile trip) without one single issue. The car has never been driven in snow, I only take it to Lincoln meets and car shows in nice weather, the car is stored in a heated warehouse. I had it painted shortly after I bought it in the original Diamond Blue Moon dust metallic paint color. I also had pinstripes added to match how it would come from the factory, except it is vinyl pinstripes vs. hand painted pinstripes. The Paint is beautiful and almost completely chip or scratch free. The interior is nice with minimal fading on the seats nice a bright, the back seat was preserved with back window tint, I didn't like the window tint and I recently removed it myself and unfortunately it still has a sticky residue from the tint on the back window. The wood trim is very nice and the center arm console is near perfect . It has its original floor mats which are still very nice. The moon roof opens and closes just fine, the power seats work, the power door locks work and the power windows work, the miles to empty gauge works. The original radio is in the car and works, it is just disconnected from the antenna because I had a hidden modern stereo installed which sounds much better than a poor quality radio from the 70's. The car has the 400ci motor(one could not order the 460 in California in 1978) The 1978 400ci has 179hp vs. the 1979's 159hp. It has plenty of power and I have raced two 460 cars in our Lincoln club and one on the YouTube "diamond in the ruff video" and I out accelerated all 3 of them with my 400ci. The motor is smooth and powerful and the transmission shifts nice and smooth. My car has the moonroof and the cb radio and the umbrella. I have a like new leather toolkit and leather owners manual cover that may come with the car depending on the selling price. I have added NOS front parking/turn signal lights, not a scratch or chip in them, these were expensive. Also the chrome trim piece that goes along the front bumper filler piece is also NOS and nearly impossible to find, also very expensive. Here is what I have had done to the car since I have owned it: * New white wall tires with less than 5000 miles on them * New Paint and Pinstripes * Brake system bleed/flush *Power steering flush * New U-joint * New Idler Arm * New outer tie rod * New motorcraft spark plugs * New fuel filter * New Accell ignition wires * New MSD Distributor cap * New starter * New starter solenoid * New battery cables * New valve cover gasket * Wheel bearings re-packed * New Alignment(goes straight down the highway) The car has been so fun to own and drive, I have bought another Lincoln and now have too many cars and I need to downsize, that's why I'm selling it.
