Custom exhaust system, cold air inake. The 2JZGTE engine in this vehicle is good, strong & running properly. It was just serviced and has a NEW TIMMING BELT! This vehicle has a smooth shifting transmission. The Steering & suspension in this car is nice and tight. It's a pleasure to drive this car. Not to mention the attaention it grabs it's a pretty sharp and aggressive looking car. AC/ power widows. This vehicle does have some COSMETIC defects please look at the pictures . Please read the description carefully, Someone stole the driver seat buttons, while the car was here on our lot. Please read the captions on the pictures if any, they best describe abnormalities that we noticed. Exterior is good.There is some wear on the interior no rips or tears apparrent though, with a nice clean up and some leather conditioning it will be better. There is approximately 65-75% of the tire tread remaining. The previous owner traded in this vehicle for a 2008 IS350, he indicated that 2 or 3 years ago he had an accident. Someone hit him in the side, and that the damage was to passenger side doors & post. That he had it replaced/repaired & repainted at a shop. The carfax/autocheck report reflects that as well as a minor accident in 2005. He had the bodykit installed about a year ago. Vehicle has minor dings, scratches & normal wear on the exterior body as with any car on the road over 10 years. **NOTE see pictures** the car has a aftermarket bodykit. SEE PICTURES. This is a beautiful 2006 Lexus IS 250 AWD in Glacier Frost Mica. I am the third owner since May of 2012 and it has been my "baby" ever since as noted by my friends and family. It was purchased with 69,851 miles and has been more or less a daily driver now clocking in at 95,XXX. Mechanically, the car runs great. All recalls have been addressed at local Lexus dealers and all required service have been performed by a local reputable mechanic specializing in Japanese vehicles. The front brakes and rotors were changed when the vehicle was purchased in 2012 and a new set of Pirelli Cinturato P7 All Season Plus tires were installed last year in March at 84,432 miles. The car performs amazingly given that is 9 years old - it remains as quiet and as smooth as ever but has the edge of a sports vehicle. It drives wonderfully and reassuringly in inclement weather, especially in the snow. The AWD in combination with the new all season tires have combated the harsh east coast winters without a problem. The exterior of the car is in excellent condition. The paint is Lexus' Glacier Frost Mica, which they no longer produce. It is a unique and elegant color more along the lines of a pearl that exhibits pinkish and blue hues under different lighting. It is definitely a sight under the sunset. There are minor cometic blemishes on the vehicle, most notably on the front of the hood and side fenders from driving on the highway, but they have all been professionally touched up. There are some small nicks near the Lexus logo on the trunk, from mounting a bike but it is not noticeable. The wheels however do exhibit some rash from being a city-vehicle, but in now way does it affect their performance. The interior is also in excellent condition. The driver side seat exhibits the most wear as I am mostly in the car by myself (with at most a passenger). The back seats are almost never used. Recently, I have done a minor detail of the interior - cleaning and conditioning the interior.
