For sale is my 2001 Lexus IS300. The car has been meticulously maintained and garaged throughout it's entire life (I have a complete service history to prove it). I bought the car from my neighbor who moved down here from Pennsylvania, so I am the second owner. The car was never driven in the snow and rarely seen rain, there is no rust anywhere on this car. It is an absolute joy to drive and has three mode choices available; Sport, Snow, Comfort. The car is rear wheel drive and also has traction control that can be turned on or off with a manual transmission mode that allows you clutchless shifts via shifter buttons on steering wheel. The engine is Toyota's bulletproof and famous in-line 6 cylinder 2JZ-GE which was used by the Toyota Supra and Lexus SC300. The car handles with almost a 50/50 weight distribution, and braking better than it's German competitors such as BMW. Everything works like new in the car and it is loaded with options. Leather and Suede Power seats, heated seats, Front and Side Airbags, Premium Sound System, 6 disc changer, power windows, mirrrors, door locks, keyless entry, auto up/down drivers window, one touch power sunroof, cruise control, adjustable speed wipers, security system, fog lights, xenon lights, aluminum race inspired pedals and shifter, aluminum door sill plates. The car has had every service performed on or ahead of schedule. Just completed was the 90,000 mile service which includes timing-belt, water pump, serpentine belt, coolant flush, cam shaft seals, crank shaft seal, valve cover gasket, fuel injector service, throttle body and intake manifold service (cleaning). I had the radiator replaced as well since the old one had to be removed to perform the service (I saved labor). I also had four new Sumitomo HTR all season tires put on it, including a four wheel alignment. The drivers seat bottom and seat heater was replaced at the time with a new one due to the mechanic staining it (They went in half on cost). The total service with tires and seat cost over $2500. I also purchased new factory floor mats front and rear ($300). I installed a new in cabin air filter as well as a engine air filter, and gave the car a oil change with Mobil 1 5w-30 full synthetic and a Mobil 1 oil filter. The car is a non-smoker car and has never been smoked in. As you can see from the pictures the car is in immaculate condition inside and out and looks like a new car. I get compliments on it everywhere I go. The car needs nothing, not even routine maintenance for a long time beside an oil change in 1,500 miles. The car is just getting broken in and will last forever if proper maintenance continues. If you research this car you will see they typically have over 200,000 miles with some having 300,000 miles with no problems. I will be more than happy to drive the car to a mechanic of your choice for inspection at your cost. As I said, the car needs nothing it just had a full service at 87,007 miles. Carfax report is outstanding scoring 20 points off the chart for an exceptional score. It reports three owners because it was purchased as a lease, then bought at end of lease by leasee. One of the only issues ever reported by IS300 owners was a Sticky dash board from the sun and heat. The 2001 Lexus IS300 was one of the only years it did not have that problem due to the dash being made of a different material. So, if you are looking for a IS300 stay under the model year 2002 or you may run into that problem. Also please consider in the asking price the fact that all services have been done and a very expensive one recently, including a full and complete service history since new. Many others might say services have been done, but without receipts from Lexus/Toyota dealers it means nothing. All work that has been done is warrantied through Toyota. Piece of mind is everything!
