The car was then taken to the Lexus Dealership and the Pass door window was replaced, however the price for the Nav face plate alone was almost $5,000! so the insurance company decided to total it. We got this car into our shop and after a thorough inspection we found the Nav/Radio unit fully functional and only a small scratch on the Face plate, the upper clock housing was damaged so we bought a replacement for that. Eye Catching Metallic Red exterior, with a Luxurious Leather interior! This car picked up some stray voltage from lightning during a thunderstorm. The lightning struck nearby but never acutally hit the vehilce itself. However all the stray voltage shut down this cars computer network. The owner took it to a Lexus dealer, but they where unable to establish any communication with the cars computer system. Upon learning that the car wasn't even begining to communicate the insurance company totaled the car. We got this car into our shop and spent three days diagnosing the communication network. We found the ECM, Electric Power Steering Module, and the ABS Module had been damaged which shut down this car's computer network. We replaced all these with orignal Lexus parts. Now the entire Computer Network is communicating and there are no Trouble Codes stored anywhere in the electrical system. Everything on the car is functiong properly. WE BACK UP OUR REPAIRS WITH A 90 DAY UNLIMITED WARRANTY!! Besides a few scuffs on the bumpers and one small scratch on the driver door this car is is perfect condition!! ( I pointed out this damage in the pictures.) The lightning struck nearby but never acutally hit the vehilce itself. However all the stray voltage shut down this cars computer network. The owner took it to a Lexus dealer, but they where unable to establish any communication with the cars computer system. Upon learning that the car wasn't even begining to communicate the insurance company totaled the car. We got this car into our shop and spent three days diagnosing the communication network.
