If you are familiar with Rovers then I’m sure you are already aware that the Sports are the First of the new generation Range Rovers that were designed from the ground-up under the watchful eyes of Ford/Jaguar. Long gone are the reliability and performance issues that had nagged the Marque for decades. The Supercharged models basically come from the factory with all available options and ours has a few additional. I have wanted a SuperCharged Sport since I first test drove one back in late 2005 and after researching and watching for what seemed an eternity, I finally pulled the trigger on this one as a replacement for our LR3. It lived its entire life in Texas so it had never been subjected to the harsh winters here in the Midwest. While it is exactly what I had expected and more, our family is still of a size that makes it not quite as practical as we need for weekend trips to the lake. I hate to admit it but the LR3 simply swallowed more gear and made a more suitable travel rig for us...so the SC needs to find a good new home. Completely clean CarFax showing NO Accidents and Documented Dealer Maintenance. Unlike most Rovers, this gal is fully sorted and every installed option works just as it should. We just had the Engine, Differentials and Transfer Case Oils changed (full synthetic) at 77K as well as rotated / balanced the tires and installed new wiper blades front and rear. Do your research, the 2006 & 2007 SuperCharged (not the HSE) Sports are considered the most Reliable Rovers to ever come out of the factory The exterior has been kept in great condition and the Java Black shines like new sans a door ding or two (I just “clay-barred”, polished and waxed it). The interior is in fantastic condition as well, the leather has been conditioned religiously showing no cracks, stains or wear and the carpets have been covered by mats since new including the cargo area. The only flaw worth mentioning is the typical dash crack around the passenger airbag...all LR3s and Rover Sports show this...unfortunate design flaw. With that said, this is effectively an unbelievably clean and straight no apology Range Rover Sport Supercharged. We own this outright so there will be no lien issues with the sale.
