RUNS & DRIVES Just taken off the road as it has been replaced with a "younger brother". Front passenger corner is slightly dented (see pics) - I do have another fender (free) Engine knocks like a diesel - like the rest of these... Has a new thermostat and runs with Rotella to quiet down the clicking noise. 3rd row seating, and a very comfortable ride... Does have an oil leak somewhere but I have not made much effort to find it. Brake light indicator has recently come on... not sure what it is all about... Contact me for any other details. Selling my Rover - it's time to go to a new home. Ok, first off, ignore the graphics on this Disco - it has been protected by a full professional vinyl wrap for the last 6 years, and has perfect white paint underneath. I have not yet taken off the wrap, but am considering selling it due to changing priorities and lack of time. It has a bunch of quality add-ons that will make it attractive to the right person. Looking for a new home for it, as I've been holding on to it out of a soft place in my heart for Discos but it needs a little help. Please read entire description below. THE GOOD: 2001 Disco II SE7 - white w/ tan leather, 3rd row seating, great exterior - no dings or damage or rust, all power options work, clean and nice interior. Around 130K miles. Extras include full safari rack with 4 PIAA lights ($1,700 new), ARB winch bumper w/ PIAA lights ($1,500), Old Man Emu 2" lift kit w/ shocks/springs ($1,000) (air suspension conversion completed), bigger tires w/ nice tread (265/70/16 - set of 5). Other parts / maintenance done in last 2K miles: full top and bottom engine rebuild (cost over $5K), radiator, water pump, thermostat, starter, belts, plugs/wires, new driveshaft, brakes, fluids, battery, etc. THE BAD: About 4 years ago, the engine overheated and I wanted to do a full rebuild. Instead of ordering a crate motor (which would have been easier and less expensive) I ordered new top-hat sleeves and a performance cam from D&D Fabrications, and hired a local machine shop / performance engine shop to do the rebuild, then worked with my local independent shop to do the labor/install. After the entire process, after everything was put together, I had an issue with a miss and let it sit for a couple years due to frustration and lack of time. Last year, we pulled the top off to find a bent push rod, so we replaced them all. It was believed this happened during the break-in period and may have been caused by the performance camshaft we went with. After all put back together, one of the lifters started ticking, but it drove well. It got much worse after driving 500 or so miles....the tick turned to a tap with a miss and rough idle and I believe it's another bent push rod. After talking to others, I think we made a mistake by going with the performance cam and that's part of the issue. If someone wants to take the time to pull it apart, you can quiet things down and get it 100% again, but it idles rough right now and has a bad miss, so the engine does need some attention. Although it runs and drives, I would not trust it to go far as the issue could worsen. I've just let too much time go by and have little time to get involved with it again. The only other item worth noting is the power steering pump leaks a bit. There are no other issues with this Rover - it's a sweet truck that's had a bunch of upgrades, ready for someone else to enjoy once the engine issue is resolved. Never taken off-road by the way - the upgrades were all for looks. BACK TO MORE GOOD: With the sale, I am also including a spare complete engine which can be swapped, and I also have a new-in-box head gasket/bolt set and factory original cam. I bought the engine 5+ years ago for $900 from a pretty wealthy guy who paid a shop to have his professionally removed from his 2001 Disco that his wife totaled, but he wanted to save the motor in case he got another one in the future. It has around 82K miles on it and is a good motor. I just don't want to invest the time/money/effort into a swap when I've pretty made the decision to move on from Discos (I've had a few). Cosmetic imperfections (small stuff)-A couple plastic clips broken from the surround above the steering wheel-Small 2" indentation on back seat (see pic)-Rear bumper has a small piece cracked out -Part of the headliner sags but it's not as bad as most This auction includes the vehicle with all it's upgrades, the spare engine, the gasket/bolt kit, as well as a box of extra spare parts including new hoses, new window regulators, MAF sensor, rear bumper, extra mats and more. For the right person, it will be a very interesting find. Clear title, no wrecks, passed VA state inspection in July. This Vehicle is in great condition. The vehicle has one previous owner besides me. Vehicle was used for intern driving only, but is an excellent offload vehicle as well. It is equipted with AWD all the timed has one of the heaviest 4wd hi and low gears still to this day. It is tan leather with heated seats which are auto adjustable. It also has fold down third row seating as well with tons of room. This has been an amazing vehicle for me. I had after market drive shaft put in for off roading but never had the chance to use the vehicle for trailing. It also has an after market CD player in it (Kenwood), and all speakers are Bose. All Tan and Black leather seats, and two sun roofs, one in front and one in back. Rear air bag suspension for off road situations. It has had all belts and pulls replaced recently.up to date oil changes and check ups have been routinely done every 5000 miles at certified Land Rover mech. since the purchase of the vehicle. New power steering pump and hoses recently added as well.

2003 Land Rover Discovery Series II - 7 Passenger Up for sale is a great example of a land Rover Discovery. This is a rare 7 passenger model and comes loaded with leather, dual roof and lots of standard, luxury and safety features. This is a clean titled truck with no stories. Comes with a recent and valid Ontario Drive Clean report. The vehicle has been well kept for a 13 year old truck and it shows. This is the second last year of the Discovery in Canada and so it comes with the bigger and better 4.6 Liter V8 motor and the upgraded lights. The interior is very nice and free of any major wear and tear. No cracks or rips in the leather. The exterior is just as nice with no major rust, damage or wear. The engine runs smooth and very nice with great power. The rear air suspension is also in great working order! This truck has two sets of wheels: The original 18 inch you see pictures with not-so-good winter rubber. However, I have another set of 18 inch Land rover alloys with much better rubber mounted currently on the truck. So you get two sets of Land Rover wheels with this deal! The passenger side front window regulator is not working properly which is a common issue with these. The power steering has a leak and this truck will also need brakes for a safety inspection. Sorry this photo is a little dusty we just got the vehicle in and have not detailed it yet. NEEDS A TRANSMISSION and to be towed out of Murray Utah. Once you pop a transmission in this car will be worth a quick $5,000 because it only has 131,000 miles. INCLUDES BUDDY jump SEATS in the back!!! The SUV carries 7 people!!! We have a 2003 transmission you can pluck for $300 out of another vehicle we have if you live around Salt Lake. That transmission has 190,000 miles and works. We have a hydraulic lift you can use. We also have some SUPER NICE wheels/tires to upgrade with for $200 for a full set either 18" (99% tread) or 19" (85% tread) and they are OEM Land Rover. Everything is in good condition. There is a small dent in the rear edge corner under the tail light. Insides are black leather and in good shape. We are dealers. Pick up in Salt Lake City area. Bonatti Grey with Black leather interior -- has all the usual SE7 features such as 3rd row seats with Rear Air & Audio, 2 X sunroofs, Cold Climate package (heated seats / windshield), Harman Kardon Audio with 6 disc changer. This was my wife's car up to approximately 95,000 miles so it was a soccer mom hauler for most of its life. After that it was a spare car for the family for 2 years in Boston and then it went to Colorado where it has been for the past 3 years. The only reason I am selling it is that I no longer (and sadly) spend much time in Colorado due to my work. This vehicle is NOT on the defective oil pump failure list Head gaskets have been replaced (Cityside Garage) Full set (5) of 16" DII wheels with Dunlop M/T Maxx Traction tires This unit has a Center Differential Lock (Cityside Garage) OME 2 inch lift (Cityside Garage) Tom Woods Front Drive ShaftTerraFirma Brake Rotors with Akebono pads (JC’s) TeraFirma Front Winch Bumper w/Warn VR10000-S Winch, remote and synthetic rope (JC’s)Warn Recovery Pack - Straps, pullies, and some other items Columbia Overland Rock Sliders (JC’s) Brand new Heated Windshield All light bulbs have been replaced with the exception of the high beams Fender flares removed – looks way better Never been smoked in No accidents – clean CarFax record, happy to send you a copy of mine buts it’s a few years old. Extensive and COMPLETE SERVICE RECORDS - we purchased this unit with 5,500 miles on in 2003 (I think it was from Hertz) it so i think the only service that we did not do (and therefor do not have a record of) is its first oil change. I have everything after that. This is a fully serviced -- drive it anywhere vehicle, I just drove it round trip from Denver to Dubois, WY - 1,000 miles - and it ran the whole way at 70mph flawlessly. It does have nearly 145,000 miles on it so there are some cosmetic wear and tear items but the major flaws are: 1. Right Rear Scrape from hitting a cement post a number of years ago so rust is not an issue. Also RR is missing a trim piece that someone pinched and I just have not replaced. 2. Back pocket of driver's seat has been the object of my dog's desire seeking something that my kids left in there. Don't have any suggestions other than put black tape over it and live with it, or cut the pocket out.3. Driver’s seat heat does not work and it has a tear in the side bolster. 4. When I had the CDL installed, the hill descent was deactivated while the center differential is locked - this can be reactivated if you were to so choose. 5. Rust bubble (a bit bigger than a US quarter $) on the left rear door window frame 6.Three Amigos have visited this truck; however I have not experienced them in over 6 months. When they do show up it’s just a matter of re-starting the truck and they are reset and off. 7. Has some trail scratches but most, if not all, will rub out. Land Rover is located in Denver Colorado. JC’s British 4X4 has done all of the work on this since it arrived in Colorado 3 years ago, prior to that Cityside Garage in Holliston MA, Land Rover of Peabody performed most of the work. I purchased this Rover approximately 13 months ago. Since then, I had a new AC Blower installed for $900 and the entire coolant system refitted for $850. I have also purchased TWO NEW rear tires. The car is in great shape. I recently had a CarMax appraisal done, and they found ZERO mechanical issues (NO FRAME DAMAGE). ZERO transmission issues. ZERO engine issues. The car is in great shape. Normal wear and tear on the leather/steering wheel. This car easily has 50,000 miles in life left, and had recent paint work on all body parts. LOOKS FANTASTIC! I'm selling the vehicle as I don't have room for the second car at my home since my girlfriend moved in... my gain is also my loss...

Selling because we have too many cars in the driveway, otherwise I would keep it The Good:-Clean Title-No Rust- Receipts from engine rebuild AT A LAND ROVER DEALERSHIP, there are slightly less than 50,000 miles on the engine rebuild -Entire cooling system was updated as a part of the engine rebuild- Several other receipts from general maintenance at the Land Rover dealership that was close to the previous owner -Front and rear prop-shafts have no play in them, which leads me to believe that the previous owner had them replaced- Front differential looks relatively new as well -Air Suspension/Sport mode work properly- In my ownership I have replaced all 4 Oxygen Sensors, the MAF sensor, the Secondary Air Pump and I have a new cam position sensor (I occasionally get a code for it) -Interior is pretty decent. 8/10. The Bad: - The body is in slightly rough condition (Previous owner backed into something as you can see in the pictures there are a few other minor dents from them, the doors make a little noise when opening them, the paint has some scratches and the clear is slightly fading on the roof) Overall the Exterior is probably a 6.5/10. - Driver door is slightly difficult to open, and front windows need new motors. - SLIGHT coolant leak at the heater core, I top it off every month or two. OVERALL MECHANICAL - 9/10 INTERIOR - 8/10 EXTERIOR 6.5/10 I would not hesitate to drive this beast across the country, I also have some 32" tires for it that I never got around to installing, they can be had for an additional $300.

I have a good running Land Rover Discovery 2 that I need to move out. This truck is the SE7 package so it has all the options and i will try and cover all the good and bad with the truck. There are a few known issues it has and I will do my best to describe it fully. I am asking 4000 OBO, it has a lot of new parts, but I also realize it still needs some work. New Parts:*Transmission*front drive shaft (Tom Woods)*Thermostat*ACE Pump*Power Steering Pump*Alternator*Battery*Belt*Tires (are in good shape, have about 5000 miles on them)*Rear drive shaft couplerCons:*has oil leak at oil pan (every land rover/range rover leaks oil. If it doesn't, it is out)*has vibration coming from front about 70mph. Have researched it and that is why it has a new drive shaft. I am thinking it maybe a wheel bearing or some where in the steering link*will probably need an oil pump in the next year or so.*minimal damage to front bumper and grill. Never been in an accident but when i had the truck loaded onto the tow truck to bring to my house when i bought it, the moron pulled it up to far and it hit the winch on the truck.This is a good rig if someone wants to put the time into it. I bought it to flip for my wife, but life has gotten in the way and we just don't have time to finish it. It has a great strong drive train for someone that wants to drive it every day or turn it into a great off road truck
