Up for Sale is a beautiful 2004 Land Rover discovery HSE. It is in really good condition. Just had a full service and is ready to go offroading or be a daily driver. It has a 4.6L V8 engine. It runs strong and the transmission shifts smoothly. The land rover just had the following services done: new thermostat, new coil packs, new spark plugs, new spark plug wires, new O2 sensors, new tires, and a fresh oil change. The vehicle will come with a total of 8 rims. 4 on the car 1 spare and 3 in the back. This Land Rover has 7 seats including 2 jump seats in the back. The engine has a small ticking sound and it leaks a little oil. The Land Rover mechanic that I take it to says that this is common for the Discovery II model. The back driver side window occasionally wont go back up. The vehicle had new head gaskets in 2012 as well as the conversion to a coil spring suspension instead of the air shocks and new cats. The Land Rover does great on and off road. All this Rover needs is a new owner.

This is the HSE Edition and is dressed in Beautiful Gloss Black over Tan Leather and is one of the most sought color combination's produced. This Disco is incredibly clean, and appears to have spent it's entire life in the garage. Every where you look this car is very clean. This is one of the most Iconic Off-Road Vehicle of our time. It comes with all the Booklets in the Glovebox. It has always been very well maintained and cared for, and has always been pampered and never abuse, and it had to have been garaged it's entire life. This vehicle has a green exterior with a tan/black two tone leather interior. Its really in good shape especially given the age. This "Disco" is free of the engine noise that some of these trucks were plagued with, I buy a lot of them so I know what to look for and this truck shows no signs of this issue. The 2004 model also got some nice upgrades over the 03 in addition to the engine being less prone to problems. There is a nicer looking roof rail system, nicer wheels (this one has the upgraded HSE rims), and also a locking center differential making it even better in foul weather. Upon getting this truck in, we serviced it and gave it a detail. The service was a big one, we changed the head gaskets, valve cover gaskets, intake gaskets, and all other ancillary parts encountered while doing the head gasket job The matching Goodyear tires look great as do the brakes. All accessories on the truck are operable and the interior is very clean with only some light wear on the seats. With the availability of our Pre-Owned Extended Service plans, there is no excuse why you would even think about letting this truck pass you by. This LAND ROVER DISCOVERY II has only 83,530 original miles and has been very well maintained and preserved. It is in Perfect condition and runs excellent. This was the last production year and it has all available options of the time, including the desirable differential Lock option.Navigation and an excellent Harman/Kardon sound with 6 CD system makes long trips very pleasant.As can be seen in the photos, interior and exterior condition is well over average.We purchased this car from a dealer in January 2015 and have been very happy during the 8,000 miles we put on it.The tires and shocks were replaced in April 2015. All service was done on Engine, transmission, differentials. Brake pads front and rear were also replaced with original Land Rover pads. New Battery 07-2015 ($180.67) New DriveShaft - 05-2015 ($781,47) New Tires 05-2015 (four - Goodyear LS IIs - $1020.73) New Tie Rod and Radiator Hoses - 12-2014 ($73.44) New Remote Key - 12-2014 ($353.39 - Expensive with Programming!)(has two sets of manual keys - one wireless remote) New Side Rails 06-2014 - "Romik" with Extensions. ($736.35) Interior is typical of the age. Leather is in good condition... small cut on side of right front door. Headliner is fine but not perfect - see pictures. A/C blows cold in both the front and the back. Third Row of seats work fine. Maintained if Pompano Beach by :The British Four Wheel Drive Company" -- Norm's "the guy"! Happy to help you ship as needed... or it is capable of long haul as needed. The exterior is in good shape... 147,000 miles worth. It has typical dings and blemishes from use... but nothing that stands out. What's bugs me is the horizontal tape going around the mid-section... it has wear from washings... needs pulled off and replaced... the hood has typical rock chips... but again nothing you'd not expect on a 2003 and one that's been used! On AutoCheck it shows a mileage problem... we're not aware of any. They show 30,000 miles "missing" on the report and their dates... the 10,000/year seem appropriate to get to the current 147k miles. Hello im selling my Land Rover HSE7 and I will start with the bad it has no AC i took the clutch plate of the pump because the bolt that holds it on somehow got lost. Truck is the most expensive discovery model and has rear AC for the passengers that works separate and that works very well. Clear coat is fading on the hood and roof as you can see in the pictures and it has a crack in the bumper. Power steering leaks slightly i recently replaced the power steering pump and the low pressure hose it think it might be just a clamp that is not tight enough. This is my fourth Discovery that i have owned over time this truck had the head gaskets done heads decked by previous owner i recently replaces both coils, spark plug wires and spark plugs so it runs great. Engine does not leak oil at all same with the transmission which is amazing if you had these trucks you know that they are notorious for marking there territory everywhere they go:) the only leaking problem is the ps pump leak. Transmission shifts smoothly with out jerking in to gears. Frame is in good shape and not rusted thru which is common on these also. Interior is clean never been smoked in it Does not leak rain water like some of these do.. Everything works fine opens and closes moves and adjusts, heats etc The only reason im selling it is because i want a newer Rover so that about it. Thank You for your time!

It was a difficult decision to sell my Land Rover, but plans have changed. All the work and upgrades I have done were with the thought that I would keep the vehicle for a long time. - 2004 Land Rover Discovery HSE.- Harmon Kardon High end stereo package, excellent sound.- Fully loaded with cold weather package(heated seats and heated windshield).- PDC- Rear Parking Distance Control- Vienna green with what I would call Olive color interior(Not sure what Land Rover calls the color, I believe it is a 1 year only interior color way offered in 2004).- 4.6 litre engine with secondary air injection- Locking transfer case with 1 year only cable actuated CDL shifter. Vehicle currently has 133,129 miles on the odometer. I am the 5th owner according to Carfax. CA car its entire life, originally sold at Hornburg Land Rover of Santa Monica. Previous owner had maintenance performed at a mechanic friend of mine. I know that he had the front main seal replaced and the brake pads replaced during ownership. Brake pads have approx 90% material left. Overall condition/function: PASSED SMOG on the 30th of June 2015.All dash lights work and there is no Check Engine/Service Engine light or "Three Amigos". AC and heat work perfect. All systems work as they should. All door locks, Power windows, and Sunroofs function properly. Car drives, steers, and shifts perfectly. No ticking noises or issues. Paint is clear and bright. No cracks in bumpers front or back. I painted the front bumper and fender wells with bedliner pant by Duplicolor. I also added 16" S wheels and painted them with Duplicolor "bronze" pant. Tires are Falken Wildpeak A/T 255/65R16 with brand new matching spare. Based on spare tire tread depth tires have 80% or more tread life. I added a hydraulic step from an SE7 on the rear bumper to make access to the cargo area easier. Maintenance/Upgrades I have done: - @ 130,876 miles - Heads Gaskets- Heads dis assembled at machine shop, new valve stem seals, 3 angle grind on valves, valve seats ground, and surface decked. Also a mild port was done to the heads(I have the receipts for the work). Head gaskets and all associated gaskets with new stretch bolts replaced. Upper intake, valve cover, and throttle body detailed and painted with VHT ceramic pant then cured in oven @ 600 degrees.$2500 dollar value - Ceramic coated exhaust manifolds(inside and out done by Embee performance in Santa Ana) in silver color then polished. Ceramic coating helps to reduce the heat build up in the metal of the manifolds keeping head temps down.$150 dollar value - Added an "oversized" oil cooler as the 03'/04' model years did not come with an oil cooler(Used an oversized 03'/04' trans cooler with older D2 oil cooler lines plumbed to the front cover).$400 dollar value - Replaced power steering pump with used pump(Original pump had a bad leak)$50 dollar value - Replaced radiator with Nissens radiator and flushed entire cooling system and backflushed heater core. Refilled with green Prestone.$250 dollar value - Inline thermostat modification done with 175 degree thermostat. Car consistently runs at 184 degrees per my ultraguage. $350 dollar value. - Brand new serviceable driveshaft(all joints including centering ball are grease-able).$250 dollar value. - Replaced Spark Plug wires with 8mm STI and Bosch Platinum spark plugs$100 dollar value - @ 133,102 miles - Added used 2" Terra Firma lift kit(lift had 29K miles on it).$500 dollar value - Replaced purge valve with superior Hyundai purge valve.$50 dollar value - Transmission serviced- New filter, o rings, and pan gasket. Filled with Valvoline Max life ATF$200 dollar value - Engine flush with motor medic by Gunk $20 dollar value - Engine oil and filter changed. Shell Rotella 15/40, K&N 301 filter$75 dollar value - Front and rear differential fluid changed with Valvoline 80W/90 high performance gear oil$70 dollar value - Transfer case inspection plate re-sealed and oil changed with Valvoline 80W/90 high performance gear oil$100 dollar value - Greased all fittings on driveshaft with Lucas grease(green). Cosmetic issues: - Paint is clean with 3 small "burn" marks in clear coat on driver hood/fender from an over zealous detailers buffing pad. - Small tear on drivers seat bottom. - Driver armrest has a "reptile skin" section where the leather seems to have dried up.- Small tear and passenger rear Alcantara door panel card. - Headliner is sagging above rear passenger side seat.- Crack on instrument cluster bezel.- Passenger side tailight has a small hole drilled in the bottom by the PO, I guess it got water in it. Mechanical issues: - Small leak from Transfer case(I have yet to own one that doesn't leak). Approx 1 drop day. - Thats it! Bottom Line: All the major issues have been taken care of with this car. It is cosmetically and mechanically sound. I have owned many Land Rovers and this is one of the best I have had. I encourage any potential buyer to ask any questions, come inspect the car, and I can take it to your mechanic if the distance is reasonable. Come with 2 working remotes with new key cases as well as a spare key. You will be hard pressed to find a 2004 Discovery 2 in this condition and with the repairs already done.
