1985 Land Rover Santana Ligero 2.25 diesel Loaded with extras. Power steering, power brakes, front disk brakes, overdrive, 9000 lb. T-max winch, spare tire mount on hood, front locking hubs, snorkel, heater, Defender front seats, trailer hitch, roll bar, dual fuel tanks, etc. Glow plugs and fuel filter just replaced. Odometer reads 75k kilometers. Ten minute video shows car shifting smoothly through all four gears in 2wd, 4wd high, and 4wd low with overdrive engaged and disengaged. Video also shows winch, headlights, turn signals, hazards, wipers, washer fluid, etc. all working. This vehicle is a series 3 made under license in Spain. The body designed by Land Rover Santana for military use, then later produced for civilian use. This one is a civilian version. The body is aluminum, so, no rust. Body panels are easily made with the same gauge aluminum, since there are no curves, and other parts like headlamps, turn signals, etc., are available online. I just changed out the heater switch for $20 shipped from eBay. Harder to find parts are available at Camion Militar. They will quote you prices with shipping and customs included. The overdrive is a GLR120A and is manufactured by Heystee Automotive. This truck turns heads. You can't park anywhere without someone asking about it. It's also a great off-road vehicle. It will just about climb up a straight wall. It is not fast, but the overdrive will let you do 65 mph and the power steering and power brakes make it much more pleasant to drive than a base series 3 and, being a diesel, it gets good mileage. It's just a cool jeep. The new video shows the rockers Rhino-lined. The other video is 90 days old. Comes with clear Florida title. See videos of Jeep below:
