Not interested in dealer offers or lowball offers. Please series bidder only -- with positive feedback. I live in Rogers, AR. I have owned this Series III since 1997. It originally came from WY. I have completely professionally restored it working closely with Rovers North in Vermont and Ike Goss in Oregon. They are the industry experts. I have not spared anything on this getting it to original condition. Everything on it is either restored or NOS Rover parts. I have around $27k invested in it. I still have a lot of the paperwork on it through the years. It has comfortably lived in my shop for many years, only driven occasionally. The motor and transmission are original, completely rebuilt, rebored, new seals. The 2.25L petrol motor hums. It's hard to find a better looking Rover, but also one that runs so nice. The only you would need for high end top speed is the overdrive kit, which I never did. It's good to go around 40-45mph in top speed. There is nothing you will need to do to this Rover mechanically. I can upload youtube video if you would like of motor. I have done it all: clutch, fuel & fuel lines, radiator, hoses, etc. It's all new or replaced recently. The wiring is redone, looks clean & nice, with wiring harness. When we did the engine overhaul, I replaced the speedometer since it was shot. The NOS speedometer has 517 miles on it, the mileage since overhaul. Motor was restored the original Detroit Blue on the block, kind of an aqua greenish color. The new battery was installed last week. Rover was professionally repainted original alpine blue, which is a true Rover color. The interior is all new. The Rover has no rust on it, inside or out. Floors are perfect, with light Rhino lining spray. Has the proper fitting Rover floor mats in front and back. Seats are the premium rhino hide with new, modern seat belts. All the gauges works, including a new auxiliary power outlet (cigarette lighter) that took years to find. The dashboard is brand new, purchased NOS from S. Africa. The windows and seals are restored/replaced. Typically those are rotten, especially in the back on the window slides. The new headliner is was done about a month ago -- professionally. Only downside to the Series III in my option, they are never completely water tight. Water still can find it's way in at car wash or heavy rain. I only used as secondary vehicle so keep that in mind if you plan to drive daily. And I have replaced every seal on it. The hardtop includes the sunshade of the top which was a very cool bonus. I've only removed the hardtop when it was being restored. The tires are new as well with matching spare. I have spare tire in the back, but of course it can be mounted on the vehicle like backdoor, but I think it's too heavy. I am sure it's nice off road vehicle, but I never have taken in off road.
