IT HAS A/C, A HARD TOP WITH TINTED GLASS AND FULL DOORS. A SLIGHT LIFT KIT HAS BEEN INSTALLED AND IT SITS ON DECENT BF GOODRICH TIRES. THE BODY, BODY MOUNTS AND FLOORS ARE SOLID. THE FRAME IS WHAT WILL NEED ATTENTION. I AM A HUGE WRANGLER ENTHUSIAST AND WOULD STRONGLY SUGGEST REPLACING THE FRAME. THE FRAME HAS ROT (SEE PICS) AND IS PRETTY PUNKY/BRITTLE. THE BRAKE LINES AND 2 FRONT FENDERS WILL NEED TO REPLACED AS WELL. I WANT TO BE CLEAR THAT THIS IS A PROJECT JEEP AND IS BEING SOLD IN "AS IS" CONDITION. Truck only has a low 79,000 miles on it. Its a 5 speed and shifts through all the gears as it should. Motor is super strong. This is a 2 owner jeep. The original owner dropped substantial money into this wrangler and it was done the right way. Ok lets get started. The jeep is very clean has some dent and dings in it here and there its 16 years old. The interior is also mint, seats were recently sent out to be reconditioned and cleaned. Also comes with the rear bench seat. The truck has a full system in it, (cd player, cd 5 disc changer, speakers, sub and amp. A custom roll bar was installed inside the jeep. This was done the right way, no hack job! The complete inside of the tub is rhino lined. Jeep is on a 6 inch Rock Ready skyjacker lift. This lift is aggressive. Also have a 3inch body lift. Also has a bullet proof cross over steering kit. Ford 9 inch rear end with 456 gears. Dana 44 front end. Chevy k5 blazer 6 lug hubs with warn locking hubs. Auburn pro lockers front and rear. Like I said no money was spared on this build. The tires are 37 inch Pro Comp X-Terrians on 17 inch Mickey Thompson Beadlocks. Comes with the matching 5th wheel. Brake rotors are cross drilled and slotted. The frame is clean and was undercoated. It has two small pots on it nothing major. Ok now for the motor. Motor is supercharged. Supercharger alone was $5000 for this jeep. Has a borla stainless steel full exhaust, AEM intake, MSD ignition and added injectors. Supercharger is connected up to the boost gauge and air/fuel gauges. Jeep has a ARB bull bar in the front with a Warn M8000 winch setup. PIA lights in the front along with flashing strobe bar. PIA lights will also flash. Warn rear swing gate and bumper with tow hitch. Theres probably more I'm missing. A total of $80,000 was dumped into this jeep back in 2000. It is very clean and has very low miles. You would never be able to build this jeep at my asking price. The truck also comes with the matching soft top and a high jacker lift. This jeep is a used vehicle but everything is in working order. There is a small crack in the windshield, thats about the only flaw to this truck. The truck is also sold as is. Thanks for looking at this 1988 Jeep Wrangler Sahara Edition. It is equipped with a newer 4.0 motor from a 93 Wrangler as well as an upgraded AX15 5 Speed Transmission. I bought this about 4 years ago from an elderly gentleman who owned it since new. He loved it but couldnt drive it anymore do to back problems. He did some nice improvements over the years including a Rancho 2 inch body lift and a 2 inch suspension lift (4 inch total). He also installed larger shocks and extended brake lines.The exhaust was updated to a Borla stainless steel muffler and tailpipe that has a nice sound and will last forever! A Bestop was installed a few years back that has tinted windows that can be removed to make it a true open air jeep in about 5 minutes The doors have tinted windows as well that slide and can removed. The doors dont have locks but there is a lockable center console that is pretty heavy duty! The Saharra option gives you some nice storage areas in the dash and doors. The seats recline and have two speakers per headrest that are great for open air cruising! I updated the radio to accept mp3 ipod or cell phone imputs. When i got the jeep the body was solid the only rust I found was in the driver side floorboard (see picture). The previous owner also installed body armor on the rear quarters and under doors that prevent dents when four wheeling. The paint was an olive green which my girl friend hated! She helped me sand the body down smooth and then a friend of mine who owns a body shop sprayed the red paint on it. What an improvement! Once we got the body looking nice I set my sights on the mecanical end of things. The original 4.2 motor ran well but i decided to change it out for better performance, so in went a 4.0 H.O out of a 93 YJ with 125 k miles. Being a good time to upgrade the transmission I sourced a rebuilt AX 15/NP 231 combo out of a 89 YJ,all related parts were replaced at the same time (clutch, pressure plate, throw out bearing & pilot bearing). This is so much better than the original 4.2 & BA15! Since the original motor had a Webber Carb with electric choke on it I decided to keep it. Cold morning starts are no problem , just tap the gas to set the choke and it fires right up! YJ electonics had something to be desired so the original distibutor was replaced with a Davis High power unit sending lots of spark to the plugs.The brakes are power assist and have new pads and rotors front and shoes and drums rear. The alternator was also replaced with a new advance auto unit with warranty.The original differentials with 307 gears were retained having good gearing for Highway and off road. The wheels are off a 01 tj that I are mounted with 31 inch all terrain tires with only a couple thousand miles on them. There is a full size spare mounted on the tailgate also fairly new. I installed rock L.E.D lights under the body and hood for night time convenience that work on a remote, looks cool when driving down the road or just sitting in a parking lot! There's no back seat but there are rubber mats to cushion things and also to help with road noise. The Tail lights are also L.E.D as well as the reverse lights. Thanks for looking at this 1998 Jeep Wrangler Sport. I built this jeep from the ground up, the frame is from the south and totally rust free actually you wont find any rust on this vehicle! It is equipped with a 4.0 motor as well as a AX15 5 Speed Transmission. I did some nice improvements including a Rough Country 2 inch body lift and a 2 inch suspension lift (4 inch total).I also installed larger shocks and body armor under doors that prevent dents when four wheeling.The 4.0 HO motor is out of a 99TJ with rebuilt head & new can and lifters . The jeep has all the a/c components present . The brakes are power assist and have new pads on the front and shoes on rear.The alternator was also replaced with a new Autozone unit as well the steering box with lifetime warranty..The wheels are 8inch alum that are mounted with 31 inch all terrain tires with only a couple thousand miles on them. There is a full size spare mounted on the tailgate also like new. I installed rock L.E.D lights under the body and hood for night time convenience that work on a remote, looks cool when driving down the road or just sitting in a parking lot!
