About Us The Scoville-Meno Family of Dealerships originated in the 1970s at Scoville Ford in Vestal, NY, a dealership founded by Steve's father Lloyd Scoville in May 1967 as Steve was graduating from high school. Steve went to Villanova University in Philadelphia with a desire to have a career in the retail automobile business, and graduated in May 1971. He then worked beside his father for 9 years until 1980 when they sold the dealership and Lloyd retired. Six months later in May 1981 Steve opened Steve Scoville Inc., a Pontiac, Buick, Oldsmobile, Cadillac, & GMC dealership on Rte 17C in Owego. In 1985 Steve Scoville formed a partnership with Jim Meno to open Scoville-Meno Chevrolet in Bainbridge. Jim's father John Meno had been a leading Sales Consultant at Scoville-Ford and Jim's career started in the same manner as Steve's, working in various dealership jobs during summers in high school and college and graduating from Northwood College in Michigan. Jim eventually earned his way up to a Sales Manager at Scoville-Ford and remained there until the dealership was sold. In 1987 Steve & Jim opened Scoville-Meno Chrysler-Dodge-Jeep in Sidney, and in 1990, a second Chrysler-Dodge-Jeep dealership in Sayre, PA. In 1996 they built a new facility for their Sidney Chrysler dealership in downtown Sidney and also purchased the Honda dealership in Oneonta. Several other franchises were acquired in the intervening years and merged into the present locations. Steve's son Jake Scoville also graduated from Villanova University in 2003 and joined Scoville-Meno. In 2010 he was named General Sales Manager, responsible for sales operations in the four locations. In 2011 Jim Meno took a medical leave resulting from a long term condition, and the Sayre, Pennsylvania Chrysler dealership was sold to focus on the four New York State dealerships. In 2014 Jim Meno retired and Jake Scoville was named Vice-President, and today he and Steve are regularly in each of the dealerships weekly. 2011 Jeep Wrangler Sahara 4x4 loaded! In what I believe is the best "orange color" Mango Tango ( not available anymore ) Only 75500 miles ( currently driving it so it'll be a bit more) 1 owner! I have performed all scheduled services on this jeep and have all the recordsThe Jeep has new: OEM mopar shocks ( all 4)Brake rotors, pads ( all 4) Sway bar bushings OEM steering damper Newly rebuilt transmission ( @73K miles) including new valve body all under warrantee Now for the upgraded good stuff! My dealer installed an upgraded keyless entry security system with proximity detection so if you leave the soft top down and someone gets a little too close the system will sound an alert ( $800 value) I installed a MBRP exhaust with a nice low key exhaust note but better then stock ($400 value) I installed a Mopar cold air intake kit ( $300 value) I upgraded the original cloth interior seats with OEM heated leather seats ( NOT aftermarket Katskin type seats) ( $1500 value) I installed: Mopar hood lock, Mopar tail lamp guards, Mopar SS entry guards, Mopar 2" receiver hitch, Mopar gas cover, Mopar slush mats Over $600 value You should know: I was involved in a minor accident ( my fault) I gently tapped a car in front of me less than 5 mph at a red light The only damage to the jeep was the front bumper specifically the crush cans they worked as they should and absorbed the impact. I changed the front bumper. Almost exactly one month after buying the jeep we got a rare hail storm here in the northeast. I was driving on the parkway at the time and managed to get the jeep under some trees on the side of the road. I was able to avoid serious hail damage but nonetheless the hood did get dinged up a bit. I never bothered to fix it as it didn't bother me too much and after all it's a jeep! It added character. luckily I had the soft top up and it didn't get damaged. Please see the pics regarding the hood As previously stated the Transmission was completely rebuilt including the valve body The current 10 year/ 100,000 mile power train warrantee still applies I have 2 tops for this jeep it currently has the premium Freedom soft top and the OEM hard top which is in the garage. The hardtop has professionally installed Thule load bars onto Thule Artificial Rain Gutters. A great option for ski racks, kayak racks, roof rack or just plain loading some stuff I really really really love this Jeep and have debated selling it for quite some time but life is taking me in a different direction and I have other priorities to tackle. I have taken excellent care of this jeep, Never Off-Road, dealer serviced, professionally serviced. Every time I get an oil change at the dealership they consistently bug me about selling it. One other thing: I currently have 5 aftermarket FUEL Boost wheels with Nitto Terra grappler tires. These are NOT included with the sale of the jeepThe jeep will come with the OEM Premium 18" aluminum wheels Also, as seen in the pic I installed a mat black Mopar Grill, this IS included. Selling my 2002 Jeep Wrangler Sahara. We've upgraded and have moved on to another fun toy. It seems to run well with 124K miles. 6-Cylinder 4.0L runs great, automatic transmission and 4x4. All options work to my knowledge. It comes with the hardtop and soft as pictured. The body has rust spots on the fenders and one the quarter panels mainly.. This should go to a Jeep fanatic since it needs some love. It failed NYS inspection safety for me this year because the frame needs some repair.
