Jeep announced a special edition model of its iconic off-road vehicle, the Wrangler, with styling and features designed for comfort and capability in harsh winter weather. The 2014 Jeep Wrangler Polar Edition is available for both the standard 2-door Wrangler and the 4-door Wrangler Unlimited. The special edition includes unique styling inside and out, plus some standard features that are only offered as options on the Wrangler Sahara. Of those features, several are geared toward winter driving. Automatic climate control and heated front seats, for example, help keep occupants warm in harsh weather. A body-colored hardtop -- an option on the Wrangler Sahara -- insulates against the chill. While cabin features in the new 2014 Jeep Wrangler Polar Edition are designed to keep passengers warm, the styling is decidedly cool. Inside, the Polar Edition uses white accent stitching for the black leather seats, which are embroidered with the Polar logo. White is the trim color of choice throughout the interior, appearing on the passenger-side grab bar, vent rings and instrument rings. The instrument rings contrast against a blue background that's also unique to the special edition. For the exterior, the Wrangler Polar Edition sports 18-inch gloss black alloy wheels and a black fuel door from Mopar.
