I bought this Jeep 6 years ago with 17,000 miles from the original owner who turned out to be the 45 year-old son of someone I went to grammar school with. I'm 66. This Jeep has never experienced young drivers, which is why it is so nice. I wanted the 4.0 Inline bulletproof 6 with automatic when I was shopping. This one not only had that, it was in perfect condition to boot. I brought it to Sioux Falls, SD last month thinking I wanted it here this winter. After hearing about what they put on the roads in this town, I would rather sell it than to subject it to those conditions. It is stored in my heated garage. It has never been off road (dirt roads, yes, but not off road). It has never seen salt. It has always been garaged and serviced, never abused or damaged. It has all the books, service records, original keys, and even the original window sticker. ALL fluids have been changed on a regular basis, including the coolant (twice) and the brake fluid (three times). The oil is Mobile 1. Everything works properly. There are no issues. None. Zip. Nada.It is stock with the exception of a K&N air filter, NGK plugs, and a Bull Dawg hard top with fiberglass sliding side windows (Bulldawg Manufacturing) It also has an Islander top and the original canvas top, The Islander is a full bikini which covers the front and rear seats. The hardtop is much easier to take on and off for summer than the canvas top, Some of the pictures show it when I had the canvas top on it. I wish I had take pics last summer with the Islander top. It is very attractive, especially with the doors off. The original owner moved and subsequently registered it in two locations. I registered it in Georgia then re-registered it in Tennessee for tax purposes. Carfax can not differentiate when the same person re-registers it, so it may show 4 owners when there were only two. The original canvas top is in my aircraft hangar back in Georgia. The purchaser is welcome to it, but I did not have room to bring it up to SD. However, I do not recommend using the canvas top as it is difficult to take on and off. The Islander top and the hardtop are the perfect summer / winter combination, and both are easy to remove and install. I can arrange shipping anywhere in the world. Naturally, buyer pays for shipping. I can also drive it back to Georgia. I am leaving on Nov 21 and am planning to drive my Durango, but I would deliver this Jeep if it is sold beforehand..
