1982 Jeep Wagoneer limited with the 5.9L 360 V8. This wagoneer has no rust on it which is hard to find with these models. Just spent almost $5000 rebuilding the transmission, new brakes, new shocks, transfer case work, new wires, dist cap, new battery, completely rebuilt carbuerator. The transfer case chain makes a binding noise when turning tight corners. Can see all the work that has been done listed as seen in the invoice pictures. Have to move on from this project and find something else to drive now with a baby on the way. This jeep runs and drives beautifully. Needs a new woody panel kit, needs a new headliner put in and some interior work. Doors shut like a cadillac. The motor was rebuilt at 100,000 miles and there is 32,000 miles put on since the rebuild. I do have the back window which needs to be installed. The headliner and visors look excellent. All dials and controls function as they should and are illuminated at night. The dashboard is in excellent shape with no cracks. Original carpet is excellent with no rips or ware. All door panels and wood grain are excellent. The original cassette player has been left correct. The Jeep also is complimented by a brand new set of Custom JEEP floor mats to really finish of the luxury feel of this rig. Mechanically, this Wagoneer runs GREAT! The Jeep starts right up and shifts quite easily. The 5.9L engine has been fully tuned up with oil change and runs like a top! The truck had a major service at 80k as documented on the carfax and all fluids in the entire truck were replaced as well as intake gaskets, valve cover gaskets, drive belts, hoses, thermostat, and power steering pump. The 4x4 system functions perfectly. The engine compartment was fully detailed and cleaned. It is ALL ORIGINAL under the hood, and I didn't want to take away from the originality by doing any painting or unnecessary upgrades. The jeep is tight as a drum and doesn't leak a drop of anything. It also has its factory jacking equipment. The Jeep just had fresh suspension installed which consisted of all four new leaf spring packs as well as new shocks and an alignment. 1982 Jeep FSJ Cherokee 4x4 Golden Eagle Tribute. This Jeep draws a crowd wherever it goes. Has the 360 V8 engine, auto transmission, 4x4. It has power steering, power disc brakes, power windows, power locks, power seats, power lift gate window, all work well. The exterior has recent white paint, the Golden Eagle graphic package is new and has custom pinstripping unique to this vehicle. The front seats have both been refinished and recovered with new material matching the original rear seat, and have the original classic look with new material, new pads, feel and look like new seats. The headliner above has been recovered with new, stock appearing material, the inner trim panels and door panels were previously vinyl/shag carpeting and have now been replaced with custom wood stained and stainless steel trimmed panels. Looks like a mahagony sailboat in the inside. The shag carpeting has been removed and the inside body tub has been coated with a durable and easy to maintain bedliner material, stock replacement carpeting is available and could be installed if the owner desires. There is an aftermarket CD player and Pioneer speakers in the door panel. The truck has brand new 31x10.50x15 Goodyear Wrangler MTRs mounted on original Jeep wheels. The Jeep runs and drives well, mileage on the odometer reads 271K, also is listed on the title but the title is box C indicating that there is a mileage descrepancy. We do not have any further history of the vehicle regarding the mileage or the drivetrain. The engine has recently had a tune up including plugs, wires, fuel filter, valve cover gaskets, air cleaner and oil change etc, there is a small oil leak on the engine which appears to the oil pan. This Jeep has "The Look" that gets attention and would make a good weekend cruiser or up north cabin vehicle.
