47, 371 ACTUAL ORIGINAL MILE EXAMPLE IN BRILLIANT CONDITION This handsome long term one owner Grand Wagoneer led the storied type of existence that Jeep would picture in their brochures. The Wagoneer was purchased new by a department store magnet. He cherished this Jeep til his passing and it was sold by his widow this late Summer.The gentleman bought this '87 along with a dozen other Wagoneers for his lead executives who oversaw a staff of 3,000. This Deep Night Blue model he kept for himself. For the first two years she was his daily driver and racked up nearly 39,000 miles. He then placed the Jeep into his personal ownership. From 1989 through the Summer of 2014 she was kept at his vacation home on Hilton Head Island. He would fly in for a day or two and while there, use the woody around the island. The Jeep traveled only 9,000 miles in the last 25 years, totaling 47,371 actual documented miles.(Confirmed by both the North Carolina actual mile Title and Odometer Statement and Auto Check car tracking service...Auto Check also confirms no accidents reported). Since my acquisition from his widow in August the car was registered and now Titled in New York State. New York State however automatically Titles cars over 10 years old as mileage exempt. Still, Auto Check and recent North Carolina Title, confirm low mileage. The '87's superb condition further echo the low miles accumulated. Just as you would expect the original owner saved everything from the original window sticker, owner's manual & warranty books. Even that original AMC/ Jeep/ Renault dealer's promotional licence plate is still affixed to the front bumper. The selling dealer's promo sticker is likewise in place on the rear bumper.Condition is superb all around, not faultless of course but still brilliant. Minor setbacks include: The original AMC AM/FM/Cassette in dash stereo plays just fine but sometimes won't move off one station unless romanced for a bit. Rear power window operates via key in back tail gate only. Power door locks work sometimes but manual locks of course work all the time. There is a small penny size hole in the dashboard on passengers side which I have covered w/ a American flag pin. Lastly, there are 6 scratch lines that travel a few inches on the passenger front leather seat bottom......Looks like a puppy took a swipe at it....... All those small things listed are easily remedied or lived with for that matter. I go far out of my way to make an honest representation and there could be other very minor items but these are all that has caught my attention. I would doubt there is another Jeep Grand Wagoneer out there in this brilliant condition and with such provenance, at this price.................It is spectacular. The Jeep will be happily made available to purchasing prospect or their independent agent, if an inspection is desired before purchase.
