For sale is a Special Edition 2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee with 170,000 miles. I have been the owner and primary driver of this Jeep for three (3) years. Since I have acquired the Jeep there have been no major mechanical failures or issues requiring overhaul. It is still being driven but miles are over 249000 •VIN: 1J4GZ48Y5WC297175 •Style / Body: SUV 4D •Engine: 5.2L V8 MPI •Fully Loaded •Leather interior •Heated seats and mirrors •Moon/sun roof •Power locks, front seats, and windows •Working A/C •Engine runs great •After market stereo with CD/MP3 player and speakers Items that could use some work or replacing: •Has cruise control but it is not currently working •The driver's side window comes of the track often and needs help going back up •The driver's seat is a pain to adjust. It is a power seat and seems to have come off the track. It will need to have some work done on it or be replaced. •The windshield is cracked it is on the lower part of the windshield and does not obstruct the view. •The stabilizer/sway bar link is separated this will cause the jeep to lean in turns and feel less stable and secure on the road during high speed turns. It is a quick cheap fix or don't take turns at high speeds. If you are planning on lifting the jeep you will most likely need to replace this part any way. The KBB fair value of the Jeep is $2662. This price allows for: • Some cosmetic defects that require repairing and/or replacing • Requires some mechanical repairs • The paint and bodywork may require refinishing and body repair • The engine compartment has leaks and may require repairs • May have some repairable rust damage • The body has dents, chips, and/or scratches • The interior has substantial wear, and may have small tears • Wheels may be warped or bent, have major scratches, scrapes, or pitting and require replacement • The tires may not match and need replacing • Needs servicing, but is still in reasonable running condition with a clean title history • A few service records are available I have discounted it even further to $2000 due to the fact that I need to sell it soon and it does have a few things that need to be worked on. It's got some dents and dings as seen in the photos, but functionally, it seems fine. It has not been to a mechanic, I have no knowledge of any mechanical defects. Selling my son's 2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo. - 6 cylinder - 4 Wheel Drive - Automatic - 201,000 - Power Windows + Seats - Am/Fm/Cd/Cassette - Cruise Control - Tow Package Overall body is in great shape, with only a few minor spots of rust and small scuffs. The rear passenger side window isn't working, and like other 4.0 litre Jeeps, the engine ticks for a couple minutes until it warms up. Tires are 70%. This Jeep is very reliable and drives great. Driver's side shows normal signs of aging on the seat, carpet, and door panel (see pics). Passenger's side looks great, no major signs of wear. Backseats show minimal signs of wear, carpet shows some signs of wear. Interior trim is nice, nothing broken or missing, no heavy signs of wear. Seat cushions are in very good shape, very full with great support. Exterior has typical scratches for an SUV of this age, scratches and dings here & there - especially on the front and back bumpers (see pics). Driver-side rear door rocker panel (below the door) has small rust spot - not surprising for an SUV of this age. All power equipment works. A/C is nice and cold! Mechanical Condition:Engine is very smooth with no abnormal rattles or noises, transmission is solid and shifts normal through all the gears while driving. Engine has plenty of power, the 4.0 Liter inline 6 is considered the best Jeep engine ever built. No oil leaks, or coolant leaks, truck runs nice and cool. 4x4 runs out smooth and shifts from Hi to Low without issues. The tires are a bit loud because of the aggressive tread. Overall it's just a nice used SUV - it's not a perfect garage queen but it runs good & quite, very good on gas, plenty of options/upgrades at a very fair price.
