This is my 2002 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo and even though it has 187,000 miles, it still looks great.First and foremost, the engine most likely needs repairs which is why the price is over 50% of the retail value. Mechanics have narrowed it down to either a rod bearing or piston skirt. It runs still just with a loud knock/tick so I wouldn't put more than 1,000 miles without reapairing. The rest of the car is in amazing shape (I took great care of it) and easily has another 30k miles once the engine is fixed. A used engine swap will cost $200-$400 or you can put in a new engine for $1500. Only two people have ever owned this car (myself and my dad) and we both are not smokers.
