1997 Jeep Grand Cherokee in very good condition. Color is grey. I will trade for a larger SUV in same condition. Paint job and condition of Jeep is very good to excellent. Don't offer rust buckets or faded units with dry-rotted interior. Not looking for a project to rebuild. Must be currently inspected as is my Jeep. Trade must match quality of my Jeep. Send photos and details. Highly maintained. Oil change every 3000 miles. Jeep is in very nice condition and has many miles left to go. A great 4-wheel off-road vehicle that won't let you down. With proper oil changes and maintenance these 6 cylinders are famous for reaching over 300,000 miles. This Jeep has been well taken care of. Don't let this great vehicle be a missed opportunity. Most Jeeps you see are worn out and rarely maintained to this level. We keep our vehicles and are selling this to buy a Tahoe for our son. I purchased this Jeep in 2009 and then gave it to my daughter in the Coast Guard in 2010. She gave it back to us in 2012. We account for 3 of the 5 owners. The first two were son then father. Owned by two families. I have highlighted the few marks on it plus the 2 small star hits on the windshield. Windshield is in good shape with no cracks or heavy damage. Brand New Inspection sticker Over $2,100.00 spent this year and I have all receipts to verify. Straight 6 cylinder, Does not burn any oil. Motor is very strong. 173,342 miles auto transmission 4 wheel drive, works great power windows, locks cruise control upgraded leather seats, they are manual and not power. The power buttons are there but these slide back and forth manually. I have the original leather seats to go with the vehicle 4 excellent Goodyear tires with less than 3000 miles on them Brakes, rotors have about 3000 miles on them As of 4/6/2015 new serpentine belt. As of 4/6/2015 both O2 sensors replaced new. As of 4/14/2015 both windshield wipers replaced. As of 4/14/2014 new UPPER AND LOWER BALL JOINTS on both sides ($500.00 +) As of 4/14/2015 new front and rear shocks As of 3/2/2015 I had a brand new Master Cylinder installed. As of 3/2/2015 a new head-gasket. I have all the receipts to show the work. R&M said motor was very clean inside. You can verify. In May of 2014 a new steering box was installed In May of 2014 new front sway bar and center drag link plus the steering shock absorber. In October 2014 I had rear end carriage bearing bearings replaced and both rear axles. The differential checked out good. In July 2014 I had rear wheel bearings replaced, both sides. The car has a upgraded radio but I have hardly every used it. When I purchased the car 7 years ago the ABS light was on. I have never had the ABS replaced but the brakes have always worked perfectly. This 2001 Jeep Grand Cherokee has some minor dents and scratches, the driver side rear side door window power lift mechanism need to be fixed, engine is overheating so it may need a new head gasket or it could be as simple as a thermostat change.
