I have a 2000 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo up for sale. It is very clean! Garaged for most of its life! It only has just over 100K miles on it. It DOES run and drive! However it has very low oil pressure and valve noise coming from the #3 cylinder exhaust valve. The engine needs to be replaced or rebuilt. The truth: *There is a tiny spot of rust over the left rear wheel. shown in pics. *the keyless remote may or may not lock the doors when you hit the lock button everytime *sometimes the ignition key does not turn freely *there is duct tape on the drivers door arm rest. I assume it covers a crack. I have not removed it. *there is a very light brake pulsation from the front brakes at highway speeds. It has been sitting for a month or two. It may be related. The brake pads and rotors look real good on all 4 wheels. *the muffler is quiet. but the outer skin starting to get rusty. will need to be replaced down the road. *engine runs and drives (actually really well!) but... no oil pressure when hot. and valve noise. *the hood struts that assist the hood staying open do not function. They need to be replaced. I drive this jeep everyday. I do not have the time to put an engine in it. If you wish to make me an offer please shoot me an email.

Very clean and well maintained jeep grand cherokee wj. I am a huge jeep fan, having owned many over the years. And while I'm sad to see this one go I'm currently in need of a pickup truck. I bought this jeep about 1 1/2 years ago with just 38,000 miles on it. The jeep had served as a vacation vehicle kept at the cape cod summer home of two doctors and rarely driven. Being the jeep fanatic that I am I jumped at the chance to purchase such a low mileage 4.0 jeep. In the past year and a half I have put 24,000 miles on it having taken it up to vermont numerous times and commuting 80 miles to and from work several days a week. -bulletproof 4.0 straight six motor, known for going several hundred thousand miles with routine maintenance-selec trac 4x4 which gives you several options: 2x4, 4x4 part time, 4x4 full time, and 4x4 low .-Last fall new OME springs, bilstein 5100 shocks, 5 new jeep jk wheels, and 5 new 265//70/17 falken wildpeaks ats were installed. -This spring all four calipers, rotors and pads were replaced.- The paint is nearly flawless, except for an 8" scuff above the right rear quarter glass where I rubbed against a low branch at the edge of my driveway. -The interior is also nearly perfect except for a 1" scratch in the headliner. -An alpine CD player was installed last summer, with Sirius satelite radio, Bluetooth, and iPod controls. Additionally, an interface was installed to allow the factory steering wheel audio controls to operate the alpine radio, sat, iPod, etc. -overhead display shows direction, mpg, miles to empty, miles to service. People are shocked when I tell them this is a 1999, as it looks like it is a couple year old vehicle. I regularly wash, wax, and detail inside and out. I have a stack of service history records, the original dealer purchase and sales agreement, original window sticker, and factory manuals. Since I've owned this jeep it has been serviced by quirk dodge jeep in marshfield, with service paperwork. Clean carfax with no accident history. Clean massachusetts title in hand. Overall this is a very well maintained vehicle, that I don't hesitate to put my wife and kids in and drive 4 hours north into vermont. If you live out of state I would be happy to meet you at logan airport in boston and you can confidently drive it home.- the miles will go up during the auction as I am still driving it several days a week. I average 400 miles a week.- Feel free to ask any questions or set up a time to come see the jeep. I'm in plymouth mass about 10 minutes from the sagamore bridge. I would prefer to exchange the title and funds in person with a handshake. Therefore please plan on coming to plymouth, Mass or at least meeting somewhere reasonably close to collect the vehicle. I will ship if the buyer makes the arrangements, but again, I prefer to hand the title to you directly. Paypal fees would be too much, so please plan on cash or a cashiers check from a recognized bank.

Priced to sell!! Nice dependable Jeep. This Jeep has the legendary 4.0 engine known for being indestructible. The Jeep runs and drives excellent and even has 4 brand new tires!! The body is in nice shape with some minor scratches I would consider the body above average for it's age. The interior could use a good clean and the drivers seat doesn't match (see photo's) overall I would say the interior is in average condition for the vehicles age. 1996 Jeep Grand Cherokee [ZJ] Laredo Located in Andover, MA Local pick up only. Running, driveable, still registered and insured. Price US$1,500.00 cash. Sold as is, best for parts. 5.2l V8 Approximately 163k miles. Full time four wheel drive. Red with gray trim. Title in hand. Owned by one family, four drivers. Well maintained, normal wear and tear. Was/is running and was driving well before collision described below. Interior in good condition. Exterior, other than collision damage described below, in fair to good condition. Major Work New rear brake pads and rotors at about 162k miles. Aftermarket radio and cd player with MP3 input. Rebuilt transmission at about 148k miles -- like new. New water pump at about 140k miles. AC system overhauled including evaporator replaced at about 110k miles. Steering gear replaced at about 115k miles. Yokohama Geolander A/T-S tires new at about 125k miles, more than half tread remaining. New OEM wheels at about 125k miles due to corrosion on original wheels. New gas tank and fuel pump at about 100k miles (to replace failed fuel pump). Problems Was hit broadside on driver side. Center pillar at rocker panel pushed in about four inches. Air bag did NOT deploy. Driver and driver side rear door damaged. Drivable and driven after collision but not recommended. Check engine light currently on, reason unknown. Right real wheel bearing noisy. Parking brake pads need to be replaced. Suspension is original and needs to be overhauled (springs, shocks, control arms). Typical oil leaks for age.
