Selling a green 1996 Jeep Cherokee. This Jeep has seen better days, but it runs and the 4wd works great. The mileage is 179147 miles. Brand new battery. Minor transmission issues in that it runs and changes gears, but it stays in a gear for awhile and sometimes needs to be manually switched. There are other minor issues such as a minor leak and cosmetic issues, fuel gauge doesn't function, no stereo due to theft, u-joint issues, etc. I can't think of anything else, but it does run and was our major source of transportation for a number of years. Only reason selling it is that we purchased a newer vehicle and no longer need this one. I'm not sure how many owners before us, but we've had it now for around 6 and a half years. Only selling locally in the Ann Arbor/Ypsilanti Michigan area. Looking for $1000 but will consider reasonable best offers.

Solid, running and driving 2000 Jeep Cherokee Classic. I bought this Jeep last November to use at the beach and in the snow, but I've recently traded in my car for a pickup so it's time for this to go. For being 15 years old, it's in good shape with very minimal rust, none of which is on the frame. Would make a good daily driver, winter beater, or project. The Good:- new alternator and serpentine belt- relatively new front brakes (about 5 months ago)- below average miles for a 4.0- two new tires, other two have plenty of tread left- clean interior- shifts smoothly- good working 4x4- has never overheated- clean carfax The Bad:- small crack on passenger's side of windshield (does not obstruct view and has not increased in size since I bought the Jeep)- rust on lower part of driver's side doors (seen in pictures)- several small dings in body that can be seen if looking closely Shoot me a message with any questions. Up For Sale is my 00 Cherokee, I purchased this XJ in January of 2015 bone stock from the car lot that sold it to the original owner I have put less the 6000 miles on it and all the parts I've installed, It has a Rustys Off-road 6.5 in lift, sway Bar Disconects and fully adjustable upper control arm, it also has a Advance Adapters Slip yoke eliminator & Tom Wood custom rear Drive Shaft, The front and rear Axles were swapped for units with 4.10 gears and the rear had been upgraded to rear disc brakes while on the subject all the brake pads and surfaces are new , All the Steering components are new and more heavy duty then stock the steering stabilizer has been upgraded to a Gas Charged stabilizer, The Front and rear have G2 axl covers that hold more fluid both filled with Royal purple, The Tires are Dick Ceepk Mudd Country's 33x12.5x15 The rims are a 15x8 Crager, The engine has upgraded injectors all new sensors, new Transmission cooler and better flowing water pump more free flowing water neck and a CFS 3 Core Radiator, Custom intake, 62mm Oversized Throttle Body, Custom Exhaust with 2nd Cat deleted, Has Real BushWacker fender flares,New rear lower quarters this Cherokee the has been color match Bed liner coated up about 8 inches on lower rockers and up to the upper body line on the rear quarters hopefully you can see it in the pictures, There is some very minimal rust on some of the inside bottom seams of the doors refer to the Pictures, The rear bumper is scratched also in the pictures there is a strange nickel sized spot on the hood also included in the pictures, there I a a Custom Front Winch bumper, no winch, But 2 Cree Led Light Bars One 24in and one 52inch also has HID headlight conversion, On the inside are some pillar mounted auto meter gauges a Cobra CB ,Alpine Stereo with Bluetooth ,Onboard air compressor and tank also a large inverter ,Compustar Remote Start/Keyless entry , Quadratech Floor Mats , All Led interior lighting , I'm sure I'm missing something. There are a couple things that I should point out the windshield washer bottle has a hole in it and there is a button marked Horn next to the shifter that use to operate a air horn but switch went bad and I found the air horn to be way to loud so I removed it but I'm including a switch that will fit in that spot for reversing lights that you could add to the rear

For sale is my 2000 Jeep Cherokee Sport 4X4 with the legendary straight six cylinder motor. The Straight six motor is essentially bullet proof and impossible to kill; I have two friends that have the same jeep and theirs have 278k and 400k on the motor and they are still running strong. My jeep only has 152,000 miles on it, so it is barely getting broken in. Recently I had the radiator replaced with an all aluminum radiator, new rear main seal, new front main seal and a aftermarket radio with a iPhone/iPod hookup, USB slot and a CD slot. The interior in the Jeep is excellent condition with no rips or stains and is extremely comfortable. The transmission is very tight and you can not even feel it shift gears like most Jeeps. The 4wd system works flawlessly and does great in the snow; since it is 4wd and has a short wheelbase. Tires are in good shape. The Jeep has power windows, power locks and power mirrors. It has an aftermarket CD/AM/FM/Auxillary stereo system, class III / IV hitch receiver, towing package, 4-flat trailer wiring, power windows, power locks, cruise control, tilt steering wheel, power brakes, power steering, air conditioning, 4 LIKE NEW TIRES (have less than 15,000 miles), cloth front bucket seats, and a cloth rear bench seat. Mileage is 202,000. The interior is in excellent and very clean condition. The paint is in good condition overall but there is fading on the roof. Issues: a 6" rust area near the gas cap, there's a lateral crack in the windshield at the bottom (does NOT obstruct view), and the A/C needs to be recharged. This is an excellent running, clean, well maintained truck that starts immediately when you turn the key.
