Stock Wranglers are, well... hideous. No one dreams of a bone stock JK on 31" tires. Jeeps need suspension lifts, large tires, bumpers and a mountain of accessories. If you're shopping for a used Wrangler, you know that you have 2 options: Option #1 - Buy a stock Wrangler, get laughed at when you pull up to stop lights, then slowly spend all of your disposable income for the next 2 years building making it your own. or Option #2 - Buy a fully customized Jeep from Starwood or one of the other custom shops, wildly over pay, and watch your investment depreciate with lightning speed. But there's a better option: let another sucker spend all of his money customizing the Jeep (that would me me in this case) and buy it for a fraction of what it would cost you to build. My loss is your gain. This is one of the cleanest Jeeps you will ever see. Everything works perfectly. It needs nothing. And all of the upgrades were done in the last year with less than 10k miles on them. And again, all were installed in the last 12 months. Condition EXTERIOR: The body is in excellent condition. Paint dings or scratches other than a very small spot in the lower corner of the front grill (marked in photos). INTERIOR: The interior is nearly flawless as well. There is one small rub on the rear driver side door panel (marked in photo). Other than that, there are no stains, tears or holes on the upholstery or carpet. Also includes full set of factory floor mats including the rear cargo mat. MECHANICAL: Mechanical condition is superb. No issues whatsoever. All service was done at local Jeep dealership. Oil was changed with full synthetic every 5,000 miles. A/C blows ice cold. I have driven this Jeep on a 500-mile trip and wouldn't hesitate to do so again. 100K MILE WARRANTY: The jeep also comes with a fully transferrable 100k mile factory warranty. This is not simply a drivetrain warranty. Every mechanical issue is covered and service can be performed at any Jeep dealership or certified repair shop. The only exclusions are, of course, brakes, wiper blades and oil changes (routine maintenance). SUSPENSION: The MetalCloak 3.5" suspension lift has approximately 9,000 miles on it. The kit includes dual rate coils (better ride than stock), control arm drop brackets to realign suspension geometry and provide smooth road driving, adjustable bump stops, chromoly front and rear track bars with Durotrak bushings, rear relocation bracket to eliminate body roll, extended stainless steel braided brake lines, and MetalCloak's in-house RockSport shocks tuned to match the springs. I have driven Jeeps with almost every major suspension system and this one drives the best, hands down. It delivers a factory-like ride on the street with minimal body roll. The shocks rebound quickly and are tuned to match the spring frequency for an optimal feel. There are a few kits that cost more, but they are designed for off-road use only and tend to have poor street manners (too much flex, bad body roll, too stiff, etc.) LIGHTING: The JW Speaker LED headlights are the highest quality replacements on the market. Factory Wrangler headlights are terrible, and these provide a crisp, white light with a clean cutoff line. You will not find better head lamps in any car on the road. The matching fog lamps fill in the lower area at the front of the bumper for complete coverage. All of the aftermarket light bars and pods are controlled by the sPOD unit located above the rear-view mirror. This system not only looks great, but it will save you a lot of frustration should you decide to add additional lights in the future. Simply wire the positive and negative wires to the terminals in the box under the hood, and the corresponding switch will operate the light. I upgraded the sPOD unit with dual light independent switches and wired it to the headlight circuit. When the headlights are on, the lower half of the switch lights up green to match the green interior lights. It even dims and brightens with the dimmer switch. When a switch is flipped to the ON position, the upper half of the switch lights up as well. I added custom rocker covers from OTRATTW.net with Jeep JK images. I also have some extras I'll include with the sale. AXLES: I just had 4.88 Yukon gears installed 8 weeks ago. They have 1,000 miles on them are are just out of the break-in period. Red ARB diff covers were installed at the same time. Yukon gears are the strongest and most reliable on the market. The Jeep has lots of low-end power and will still cruise at 80mph at around 2900 RPM. Installation was done by Advance Driveline in Orlando, Florida. I also have a Synergy C-gusset kit that will be included. It adds additional strength to the outer C joints on the front axle. I did not off-road the Jeep, but I figured I would have them installed if and when I needed to replace the ball joints in the future. SUMMARY: You will not find a cleaner, better equipped, well-maintained Jeep at this price. I did not off-road it, but it is fully built to do so if you choose to have some fun with it. Just for fun, I included a couple pictures of my Jeep next to a stock one so you can see the difference. I am selling my 2008 Jeep Wrangler JK Unlimited. It's a 2008 Wrangler that was purchased in February of 2009. One owner. V6. 4WD. Automatic. Never been off-road or in an accident.
