i have a pretty clean 99 jeep grand Cherokee limited 4x4 with a very strong solid 4.7l and tranny. Clean car fax and history reportthere has been an overwhelming amount of work done to this jeep. i bought it and had it a short time and then the you know what, hit the fan. i have basically put into it what i paid for it but wasn't willing to sell it for next to nothing. so i decided to fix it. about half the work i did and the other half i took to a local shop. they are fantastic mechanics.. all spare parts and documents will go with the jeepthe following parts are new on this jeep:rear axle bearingsrear shocksnew starter rear stabilizer end linksrear sway bar bushingsupper control armupper control arm ball jointmufflernew carrier differential bearingsnew pinion bearings, seal and crush sleeve(rear end was just overhauled) royal purple synthetic used in the rearnew brake backing platesnew hardwarenew parking brake shoesnew rear rotorsnew rear brake padsparking brake assembly was completely done newnew upper and lower coil spring insulatorsnew transfer case output sealnew rear u jointsnew radiatornew plugsjust changed oil filter and oilnew air cleanernew spindle nuts and washers in the frontnew tie rod sleevenew tie rod endsnew ball joints all around in the frontnew coil spring insulators on the front diff as wellnew front pinion seals and bearings new cv joint in front right side new oil slinger, seal and crush sleeve installed in front as well. (whole front differential was overhauled AS WELL)power steering pressure hosefront rotors and brake pads as wellnew lug nuts in the rearjust replaced multiple disc cd changer in back as old one didn't workreplaced front seat so its in great shape now and heated seats workrear wiper and frontsnew pcv valvei'm sure i'm missing some stuff. bottom line, this thing is ready to go for the next person. we were actually in the middle of trying to sell the jeep before the rear end gave out. but when it did, i said screw it and decided to out the money into it to at least get some of my money back . all the paper work to prove its history from first owner until now. body is virtually rust free. passes emissions no check engine lights we were and again are trying to sell because we wanted a bigger vehicle for expanding family. van or full size. this is the limited grand Cherokee. has all the bells and whistles offered on these suvs. its a luxury suv that has a premium sound system all the leather is in excellent shape and everything inside and out works. I've put a lot of blood, sweat and money into this jeep. the only thing it will need is a front drive shaft. currently front shaft is out and we are driving it as 2wd. which yes, you can do with the vari lock 99 jeeps. re manufactured front drive shafts are about 200 bucks. very easy to install as they are constantly velocity joints that just bolt right in. I'm done sticking money into it. its our daily driver so miles will go up. at about 160,000 now.
