1972 Jeep CJ5 Renegade, Original Arizona survivor! 55,000 original miles! Title says 44,967 "A" title. (For non Arizonians, that is documented, original). Original orange paint with original stickers. Perfect patina! swapped in 360 V8 out of a 1983 "grandma owned" Wagoneer with around 100k miles. At time of install had new timing chain, freeze plugs, plugs, wires, rebuilt Edelbrock 1406 4 BBL carb, Edelbrock Intake, Old School Offenhouser valve covers, New exhaust with a glasspack style muffler. New clutch, pressure plate and HD radiator. Sounds throaty but not to loud, has more than ample power and runs great. I am selling this cool old CJ for a customer of mine. He has 10k invested with documented receipts of $8200.00! not including the cost of the jeep! MANY MANY upgrades, includung AGR steering box, GM tilt steering column, custom pedals and hangers. Bestop high back seats with Pro Armor full harness with a custom welded in bar behind the seats for the shoulder straps. This Jeep has also had rebuilt springs with taller shackles, brand new (5) Mickey Thompson wheels and (5) Goodyear MTR tires. This Renegade has custom front and rear bumpers with a tow bar and wiring. Included with the Jeep is 4 original fender flares, All reciepts and many extra parts. I do restore Jeeps for a living. Occasionally I will help sell Jeeps for select clients. I REALLY love this Jeep, its orginal paint and 360 V8 really make it special. I rarely find Jeeps that have not been repainted or wildly modified. I LOVE the patina and originality. However some things have obviously been changed. Please look at the pictures. The tool box under the passenger seat has been removed and there is rust on the passenger fender right above the V8 logo. There is also some bubbling below the door opening (normal CJ spot) and next to the tail lights (also normal spots). The passenger fender also has some "personality" as does the factory placement of the stickers! GO JEEP! There is plenty of scratches, fading, dings, dints, etc. Again, PLEASE LOOK AT PICS! its ORIGINAL!! and sooo cool. I believe (as does the owner) that the frame may have a slight bend just front of the grill on the passenger rail. The Home made bumper does not sit strait, but is WELDED on. With some time it could be removed. This Jeep is being sold as is no warranty. It has a Clear Arizona tile in the owners name. Again, she does not belong to me. I have driven her breifly and drives strait and stops amazing for power drum brakes. I will be the contact on all questions reguarding this Jeep. I do require a 250.00 deposit within 24hrs of the end of auction. I will accept paypal for this and only this. I require the remainder of the payment via "certified Bank Check" or wire transfer. I keep a Wells Fargo account open just for this, its easy and painless and trackable for both parties. Once payment has cleared my account, I will fed-ex a clean and clear title to you. 1976 Jeep CJ5 Renegade, Rare Levis edition, original paint, and original stickers! This beauty has 120k original, miles. I just swapped in a low mileage (10-20k) 4 BBL, 360, pulled from a J10. I also installed a new clutch, pressure plate, pilot bushing, throwout bearing, clutch bell crank, surfaced flywheel, new radiator, HEI distributor, MSD wires, new hoses, plugs, motor mounts, battery, battery cable, gauges, CD Player, ALL NEW! Ceramic coated fenderwell headers, with new custom made side pipes (she sounds MEAN!!!). Newer gas tank and hoses. I just sprayed in a color matched bedliner over rust free floors. Perfect Levis blue dash pad, Older Levis blue high back seats, 3" racing lap belts, roll cage (lined also), New bikini top, Newer CJ center console. The transmission T-150 3 speed has been rebuilt in the past ( with receipts), Has a swapped in Dana 44 rear with 4:11 gears and a trak-lock, front 30 with 4:11's and a trak-lock, new locking hubs, front and rear drums (power), power steering, 2.5" rancho springs with .5" lift HD shackles. RS9000 Rancho Shocks, (9 pos. adjustable), older 31" BFG's with lots of tread, some sun cracks (Arizona) on correct 5 spoke Renegade wheels. I also installed 1.5" wheel spacers to give it that wide track look (again personal preference). If not your thing, I can remove them before it ships. This Beautiful Cj wears its original paint, Has scratches and dings. The drivers fender showing a previous dent and repair and repaint. please look at the pics, There is a small area of rust begining under the "jeep" on the drivers side. (look at pics). The rear corners have older diamond plate and custom fuel filler and tail lights. I bed lined this with the inside. There does not seem to be any rust behind these, think they were installed when diamond plate corners were ther "rage", i Just liked them better blue. This Jeep runs and drives great. TONS of power, Great side pipe sound, drums brakes stop great, shifts good, TURN KEY AND GO! Only unfinished things are CD player not hooked up (brand new with box and instructions included). there are no speakers, (I did not want to install anything, cut, modify etc) the license plate light will need to be hooked up. The speedo needle does not move, however I did install a new cable. BUT everything is NEW! The Jeep comes with a Bestop Supertop. Its older and windows are yellowed. However all the hardware is there, so hopefully you could just buy a "skin" for it. BUT installed would keep you dry. I do restore Jeeps for a living.
