The car is a clean example of a self assembled woody wagon. this is a one of a kind model .I am not the original owner , it was purchased in 2013 in Pembervlle Ohio. The body work was done by a retired highway patrol officer. that had a lot of time on his hands. I would like any interested buyer to inspect the vehicle before purchase. 2006 GRAND CHEROKEE OVERLAND HEMI 4X4, Factory Navigation, Class IV Receiver Hitch, HEMI 5.7L V8 Multi Displacement VVT, 5-Speed Automatic Transmission, 4WD, Alloy wheels, Automatic temperature control, Dual front impact airbags, Front dual zone A/C, Heated door mirrors, Heated front seats, Automatic headlight and wipers. Media CTR CD/DVD/Navigation, Power driver’s seat with Memory, Power Front Passenger Seat, Power Moon roof, Quadra-Drive II R 4WD System, Remote keyless entry, SIRIUS Satellite Radio, Steering wheel mounted audio controls. This Jeep has Brushed Aluminum / Chrome exterior trim. The interior has Burled wood interior trim including the steering wheel. It has Leather and Suede Seats. It has an information center, Steering wheel controls, cruise control, trip computer, large center console, Haul mode, adjustable Foot Pedals, rear folding seats, Multiple CD Player, keyless remote, DVD Entertainment for rear seats with head phones. It has the Rear Storage Cover and the Net that came with it. Jeep didn't offer the rear Camera in 2006, so I paid $1000.00 to have the OEM original Factory camera system added. This option wasn't available until the 2007 model year. I also had a remote starter installed. FIRST OF ALL...... These pic's do not do justice to the color of this Jeep, In normal subdued light it is exclusively a black & silver metal flake, no other colors apparent but with the sun or bright overhead lights it transforms into a multicolored metal flake: reds, blues, greens, yellow, black and silver flakes, a real beauty that is a high contrast bright and shinny in color - You won't believe the difference from the pic's shown and seeing it in person it's like night and day a real head turner. - - - 1974 Jeep CJ-5 - 304 V-8 engine - Frame off restoration - Driven less than 2,000 miles since restoration - Garage kept since the restoration (never seen snow, rain or mud) - Fiberglass body, doors, fenders, fender flairs etc. (no dents, chips, dings, mares or scratches) - New Seats, front and back - Roll Bar has padded cover - Custom Wheels - KC light bar (connecting wires are there just need to be connected, toggle switches in dash work to control KC light bar, you can light two or four lights separately) - Lots of Stainless Steel - Under carriage exceptionally clean and coated - excellent suspension and shocks - Custom dashboard with new gauges - New Carpets - 57 k original miles (I have the original "yellow" Ohio title from 1974 from the original owner when he transferred the title to his Son who did the restoration 20+ years ago, it shows 55,000 miles on the title at that time and the new odometer has registered less that 2,000 miles since the restoration for a total of less than 57,000 miles total overall - only driven in parades and car shows since restoration - Black, Silver & Multicolored Metal Flake is in the Fiberglass (not painted on) This jeep was meticulously restored by the owner - The negatives = Fuel gauge does not work but separate "trip" odometer can be used to know when to get gas after so many miles have been driven or you can repair it - The tires have less than 2,000 miles on them but.....they are old, they look perfect but as you know tires don't last forever and these are over 20 years old put on at the time of the restoration - last negative is the new seats are bolted to the floor and are not adjustable, the drivers side seat sets extremely close to the steering wheel (almost uncomfortably so), but I'm 5' 9" and weigh 230 and I've gotten use to it and it's not a hindrance after you do get use to it). I have the old seats that could be and would need to be re-upholstered and installed and that should remedy the situation if desired. One other item you'll either like or dislike is the air-brush painting on the back of this Jeep (see the last two pic's) I have a custom spare tire holder that bolts onto the rear trailer hitch base that will hold a spare tire in place that would completely hide the painting from view if you so desire. The painted baby and "jeep, jeep" is a bit much but nothing a spare tire won't hide if you don't like it. I also have an extra set of doors and a bikini top, all the extras I have go with the Jeep to the final bidder. So........ this jeep has less than 2,000 miles on it since the 20+ years ago restoration, it runs great, looks great and is in outstanding condition. This Jeep is exceptional! I purchased this Jeep just last week from the original Father/Son owners and have not re-titled it since I got it to re sell not keep ( I have another Jeep a 1979 I'm keeping) Yes, I am flipping this Jeep and it is a beauty, I'm hoping to make Five Hundred to a Thousand over what I paid for it and it's worth every penny of that. Again, any questions please ask, and I highly recommend (for safety purposes) you put new tires on this jeep due to the age (20+ years) on these even though they look excellent.
