Up for sale is my 2005 LJ Rubicon Sahara. There were only 1000 of this special edition made and this is number 395 of 1000. Being the Unlimited, it is 15 inches longer than the typical Wrangler of its era.The Jeep is basically all stock with the following features:4.0L I6 engine6 speed manual transmissionDana 44 front and rear axles with lockers4:1 low-range transfercaseFactory hard and soft topsA/C, P/B, P/S, cruise control, stereo with CD player The Jeep runs and drives great and the interior and exterior overall are in good condition. The A/C blows ice cold even on extremely hot summer days and the heat blows furnace-hot during the cold months. During my ownership, the Jeep was stored during the winter months and seldom driven in the rain with the exception of the past year. That being said and given the age of the vehicle, there are some signs of wear. Current known issues include the following:Blower motor only works on high and low settings (does not work on intermediate settings). This is a common problem with Jeeps of this era and requires a new resistor to replace - google "tj blower motor resistor replacement" for more info.Windshield is cracked/chipped.There are some small pencil tip size rust spots forming on the top of the driver's side front fender - this is the only rust on the body of the Jeep. Even the front floor pans (a common Jeep rust area) are still covered in factor paint.The frame/chassis of the Jeep has a very minimal amount of surface rust where the paint has become thin - definitely no rot.Needs an alignmentI'm willing to address these issues prior to sale or the price can be adjusted to account for the repairs. Other items I have for the Jeep include the factory special edition Sahara spare tire cover and a factory Mopar hitch receiver that the previous owner removed from the Jeep.
