The original all steel body was professionally prepped and meticulously painted including 4 coats of clear coat that have been wet sanded and polished to a high gloss finish! This is a true frame off restoration. Every nut and bolt has been upgraded. Every piece has been disassembled, replaced new or rebuilt,and reassembled! This custom built JEEP has a professionally built Chevy 350 V8 with tons of chrome! The block was machined .030 over, balanced, block honed with forged steel crank and rods, new rings, bearings, seals, etc. All the goodies including a Holly Carburetor, Edelbrock High Rise Intake, VORTEC HEADS, MILD CAM, HEDMAN HEADERS with custom baffled sidepipes! This Jeep also comes with a second set of HEDMAN HEADERS for an inside the fender set up! Turbo 350 transmission with a 3000 stall torque converter, Dana 300 transfer case, Dana 30 front differential and AMC 20 rear with 4:56 gears! The rubber meets the road through Mickey Thompson Baja Claws mounted on 15" American Racing wheels. This Jeep stands tall with a 6" suspension, 3" body lift and shackles! The Shocks and Leaf Springs are painted to match the exterior of the Jeep. The Leaf Springs and Shocks where replaced new during the restoration. Idiot tilt steering column and custom racing seats on the interior. The bodywork is custom as well with a hand built dash with "Chevrolet" nameplate and Chevy gauges.
