Here is a video of the Jeep. Watch "1976 CJ-5 Renegade Levi's Edition" on YouTubehttps://youtu.be/2r854kXKEcA This jeep spent much of its life in the dry Arizona climate. Rare Aluminum slots. Original 39-year-old Levis Seats with far less than typical wear. Only a few tears in the drivers seat. Super rare uncracked dash pad.New brake lines and tires. (Tires replaced were dry rotted with most of the tread but they were over 10 years old. If you know tires, if they are over 10 yrs old they are not safe)New muffler and the tail pipe was re-routed behind the driver side rear tire (not pictured). This Jeep has rare (for the year) large disc brakes up front which are also power! Many of the early CJs were drum brake front and few had power brakes AND power steering like this one.Mostly original paint (the rear has been painted probably due to 'pushing' on the spare but the paint matches perfectly).Original "RENEGADE" decal. It is a little faded but from a distance you don't notice. Great running 6 Cylinder with an unbelievably clean and dry engine compartment! Upgraded Weber and solid 3 speed. It likes a double clutch going into third and shifts perfectly otherwise.Rare original super clean aluminum rockers, working AM radio, spare tire carrier and side steps. Spare wheel is a Jeep white series with red and blue pinstripe. Looks great when the cover is off. Nice soft top with clearer than expected windows, VERY clean body with some surface rust and a small odd spot on the passenger floor visible only underneath the safety added very nice forward extending roll bar. All gauges, and lights, and features work. Windshield washer and wipers are fully functional. Battery is less than a year old. On nice days, I drive this to and from work which is in excess of 50 miles, roundtrip. It is rare to stop for gas and not have someone come by to talk about the jeep. The only mechanical issues I have had are the brake lines, replaced and a leaky PCV Value Grommet ($3 part), replaced last week. Once you see this classic, it will be obvious there are only 54,000 miles and garage kept.
