This thing is really neat but hard to describe. Originally I think it had a canvas top but the second owner back must have been a sheetmetal man and had lots of spare time.. A hard cab top has been built on it with sheetmetal pieces and lots of pop rivets. Fans, spotlight, extra gauges, switches, lights, two radiators, bucket seats mounted on sheetmetal boxes,Chevy 350 engine, running when parked(according to the last owner),and a tilt column with power steering. Also the rear fenders have been built and several storage compartments built around them. The flat bed was probably mounted also by that second owner back. The boards are weathered on the rack. It's quite a truck and heavy, probably at least 6,500 lbs. 900x16 tires all around. The rears are military type, lots of tread but a little weathered, fronts look like retreads with wear, the spare is a conventional with very little wear but some checking. There are lockout hubs on the front axle. There was a winch at one time with it's own ammo can battery box, also another ammo can on the other side and huge tow bar on the heavy channel iron bumper between them. The cab was lined with masonite paneling and there is some water or humidity damage on it. I don't see any rustout anywhere on the cab or fenders. The air cleaner has been sitting in the cab but the hood has been down over the carb so no water has gotten into it,maybe a little dust. The big air cleaner on the side is not hooked up. If you need to get around in the heavy snow, this may be the truck for you. There is no big hurry in getting it out of here. It is in my back yard and should be as safe as all my stuff but once you buy it you should go ahead and get it home. The previous owner towed it to his house, but I hauled it to mine, not knowing how the wheel bearings and axle lube levels are.
