I am selling my 1984 CJ-7. The Jeep is mostly stock, but has had the axles rebuilt by a certified mechanic and regeared to 4.56. The regearing makes first gear in the t-4 Transmission behave almost as a granny gear. The rear axle is an AMC20 one piece shaft with a limited slip. The previous owner welded in new floor pans and replaced the roll cage with a family style cage. Mechanically the jeep is very sound, but the jeep does have some issues. The body does show rust in the normal locations. cosmetically the jeep can use some work, but it is a solid vehicle and a great starting point for someone wanting to restore or to modify for off-road use. I have used this jeep as a regular driver around town and to work so it is fine for regular use as along as you do not mind it not being pretty. The jeep has best top front seats and rear seat and comes with hard top and doors as well as soft top and doors and a bikini top. I have spare parts that I will through in with the jeep including a spare tailgate. overall a great package.
