Great car in excellent vintage condition. 99 % original. Driven as a summer weekender only. Real head turner. Always garaged, never driven in rain or snow. This beauty was “sold” once in June 2016, but now is being re-listed due to out-of-state banana buyer who made a deposit but never came to pick up the vehicle. Original black exterior trim is in excellent condition, I've just replaced rear badges with the new ones. Ready-to-enjoy coupe. No major issues, pure joy to drive year-around. Can't say AC is ice-cold, but works ok, just recharge it to get maximum output. Right rear stop/parking light bulb need to be replaced. Brand new premium battery installed. Front and rear bearings and brakes replaced by summer 2015 (1000-something miles since that day) for more confident driving despite it was not necessary. Great strong 1991 5.3 v12 ?ngine at it’s best: roaring gently yet powerful – the runs great, smooth. The most expensive Castrol synthetic oil and liquids used to feed. This is a beautiful and mostly original 1992 XJS coupe.It is a beautiful Kingfisher blue with Sable leather. It's a v12 engine that runs smooth and the trans shifts perfectly. I have just installed 6 new shocks (2 front, 4 rear), 4 new tires, and a fresh oil change.It drives like a dream. Stops well and works as it should. I bought this in hopes of keeping it but I have lost my garage space and it needs to go. It does have some chips and a door ding or two but nothing major. It is 23 years old and has some wear but overall it is a beauty.

Classic 1990 Jaguar XJS Convertible 103k, V12. Fully optioned including heated leather seats and newer Jaguar boot cover. Mechanically the Jag has always been maintained on schedule. Recent work includes KYB shocks all around (four in the back and two in the front, all brakes including rear brakes (lots of labor to do the rear brakes on this model), front end work including most of the bushings and tie rod boots, exhaust system and Pirelli tires. The Jag got a new interior about 4 years ago including seat leather, cushioning, carpet, door panel upholstery, visors and wood trim, it still smells new inside. Convertible top replaced in 2009 with premium canvas top with glass back window with defroster, inner pads and headliner, new weatherstripping on windshield pillars and on convertible top. The top got a couple of approximately 14 inch slashes across the width above the seats while it was parked in NYC about a month ago. The cuts were shallow and the inner headliner is fine, has been professionally repaired and is only noticeable up close. The paint looks new with a deep gloss, no fading, scratches or bubbling anywhere, it's always been garaged. Remarkably quiet inside the car on the highway when top is up and windows are closed. Top goes up easily along with rear quarter windows automatically. Nice modern stereo with Ipod control and remote and three ignition keys. The cruise control is intermittent and heated seats have not worked since I got the car, I haven't looked into it. The a/c blows nice and cold but does need a fresh can every couple of weeks during the summer. It's easy to do, only takes about five minutes, I will including a charging hose with pressure gauge. Classic insurance for the Jaguar is values at $28k for $190 a year, full comprehensive. Engine starts easily, cruises nicely on the highway, holds the road perfectly with a velvety feel to the suspension. Runs very strong, tracks straight as an arrow and brakes evenly, no pulling or fading. All directional/brake/turn signal/headlights and horn work. Shifts smoothly, stops easily and the suspension is luxurious. Drives overall like a European roadster should. Always garaged, the Jag is perfectlyclean underneath; floors and trunk completely solid, does not even show surface rust. We just had a baby and we don't drive it nearly enough. I don't know much about him but heard he had intended to use it for "street racing" but had to sell it for financial reasons shortly after doing the conversion. It was sold to an elderly man who brought it to Rhode Island, where he had it garaged for many years and only drove it on nice days when no salt was on the roads. I know he took great care of it, it was his "Sunday drive" car. I'm now the 4th owner and I have had it in my parking lot, covered when sitting for a while, and have given it every bit of attention it needs to stay in great shape.
