All mechanical, electrical and climate control systems are A+, full tune up including spark plug wires, distributor and rotor, new a/c drier and expansion valve, new a/c amplifier (these are difficult to source and are $295 but make the a/c work as new), new alternator/voltage regulator, new exhaust manifold gaskets, new motor and transmission mounts, refurbished fuel injectors, MAF cleaned, lube job, oil, gas, and air filters. New battery and new fluids throughout (including Mercedes Benz radiator fluid). Ice cold air conditioning. Car never overheats, even in Las Vegas summers and is very dependable, starts every time. Lovely road manners with a very solid and tight drivetrain, very smooth car, you can set the cruise control at 80 and cruise all day long. Both gas tanks and gauges work properly. Cosmetically the car is stunning ! Near Perfect chrome and trim, even the exhaust tips which are usually tarnished and brown are bright, door rubber is supple and not dried out. All lights are clear and shiny, which only occurs on cars that have been garaged all their lives. Glass all clear, one tiny flea bite on passenger side front windshield which is not noticeable. Always a Western U.S. car, 100% rust free body, chassis and frame. The cream/ivory interior is absolutely gorgeous. Beautiful original leather seats (near flawless), clean carpeting and perfect dash. Sheepskin floor mats and trunk can be washed and underneath are original floor mats in perfect condition. Wood all refinished by Madera Concepts of California and is very stunning. Even the center plastic tabs on the center vents are intact, these are always broken. No leaks when taking car through carwash. The headliner is still usable but should be redone, it had sagged in the rear and been pulled tight and pinned at the rear, no sag noticeable now, quoted $350 to have it completely redone here in Las Vegas, it’s not noticeable, I did not have it redone but reflected the cost of replacement in the asking price. Original owners manuals, books, window sticker, and full set of shop manuals. Beautiful wire wheels with good tires all around, front calipers and rear hub done in Ferrari yellow, which complements the interior and gives the wire wheels an eye catching glow. If you are looking for an exceptional Series III in it’s second to last year of production, with low miles, a stunning color combination, and in very good mechanical condition this is the one. Car is also listed locally and we have a neighbor interested in it so we reserve the right to cancel this listing at any time. It would not be true If I told my readers that I am offering for sale the most perfect and the cleanest Jaguar, since I tell things exactly as they are, or I don't say anything at all. I can proudly say that I owned several of the cleanest XJ models that were all in showroom to brand new condition. I sold them all to very happy buyers, which my feedback will show. Good evidence of my honest dealings and the quality of vehicles I had in my collection of Jaguars. This particular vehicle was purchased from The Toy Store, a dealership in Towson MD as a collectors condition vehicle with photo shopped photos and for a very high price. When the vehicle arrived It was clear that this was not a collectors vehicle and it would only make a good daily driver and that's only after I put in about $1200 on service and repairs. I knew at once that I would be reselling the vehicle and I made a choice to spend money on the mechanical and not the cosmetic. Rotors and brakes were all replaced and all original. The AC and heater system was repaired and filled. An oil change was given and some minor repairs were made. The vehicles paint has flaws. The passenger side paint is not in its best condition. Some imperfections there. The interior is in much better condition. Front seats show some normal wear, but the rear seats are like new. The headliner needs replacement. Carpets are perfect and wood is in very good condition on the dash but door panels show some cracks. The vehicle drives very nice. Has new Cooper tires and all 4 are matching tires. The vehicle has a minor oil leak and its obvious that its from the oil pan, since the top and the mid engine are clean. This vehicle can make a very nice daily driver and can be close to perfect with some little care. I paid too much for it and after for shipping it from MD and later alredy spending $1200 on it left me no more room or desire to continue spending. The new owner will benefit from all the funds I put in to its mechanical. I know I am at a loss already and want to simply recover some of my funds. Exquisite car with incredibly low mileage, pampered, garaged, covered (in the garage). I bought the car from a retired man two years ago who hardly drove it. It had 32,000 miles on it then and now it has 43k. I'm hardly driving it as well.Let me say that I LOVE this car. This is my dream car, and it fills the bill perfectly. Smooth, very-fast and, believe it, it is economical getting up to 28mpg on the highway with its all aluminum construction. The car is equipped with NAV and I've updated it to the latest maps. The leather seats have never been sat on, they've always been covered with sheep skins. Front, back, headrests all covered with sheep skins. The car has new Michelin tires, a new battery, new oil change (7 quarts synthetic), the radiator fluid has been changed and the brake fluid has been changed. This car is pampered, and beautiful. Here's the deal. I bought some land and need to get rid of some rolling stock.. this one is the hardest. I'm asking a higher price, but try to find this clean of a car, you won't. I've photographed the only flaws on the car (besides washing swirls and normal wear). I'd take this car around the country tomorrow.. no worries. If you don't like my price, make me an offer. My husband purchased this vehicle from a dealer for me a month ago, and it has been an awesome car it just has a little more power then I need. The car has been extremely well taken care of by the last owner and I have not had it long enough to require any maintenance on it.
