This is my Series 1 XKE that was the E-Type feature car in the book "Jaguar: Performance and Pride". Matching numbers engine and head. Carefully maintained since restoration was performed by D&D Classic Auto Restorations in Ohio. Restoration was done several years ago and is still show circuit ready. Since owning I have had it stored in a climate controlled showroom, with regular maintenance. It has beautiful fit and finish, outstanding paint, chrome, and body panel fit. Tight steering, strong engine and brakes. Complete engine overhaul less than 3,000 miles ago by D&D Classic Auto, including valves & guides, piston sleeves, rod & main bearings. New clutch, turned flywheel, rebuilt radiator, rebuilt distributer, dynamo & starter. Documentation, receipts, and photos of restoration. Includes tool roll, jack, and many other items. JDHC Certified JCNA Best in Class award Documentation of show awards including: 12 First Place Concours wins from New Jersey, Columbus, Ft. Wayne, Cleveland, St. Louis, Churchill Downs, Wisconsin, Detroit, Louisville, and Chicago 7 Second place finishes Circumstances have forced me to reduce some of my collection, and will soon be listing two Ferrari's, and possibly more vintage autos.
