2000 Jaguar XJR - Oatmeal and Black interior - Silver Exterior - Supercharged V8 - 370 HP - Sport Supension - Sport Seats Selling one of my favorite cars of all time, the hopped up XJR M5 competitor. I hate to see it go but I also have an Audi A7 and two big cars living in SF just doesn't work. Time for a downsize so the Jag must go on to someone who will cherish it. This car is immaculate and only has 64k miles on it. I am the second owner since 2003, I purchased it off of a very nice gentlemen down in Ventura California who kept it in his garage with 8 other vehicles. He only drove it once a month to Santa Maria to visit his daugther and grandkids. So the car lived most its life indoors and away from aging elements and it is obvious when you see it. The paint looks like it just came out of the showroom and has a fresh coat of wax. You have to see it to believe it. The only blemishes are a few small small dings in the body which can easily be removed from a dent repair specialist, I just haven't gotten around to it. The is one small brush on the rear fender which just happened this week, the unfortunate consequences of parking in the city! The car has also been garage kept since I have owned it as well. There is a black mark on the rear quarter panel, it was removed, just a little tar from some road work. I purchased the car in September of 2016 and it just isn't working in our living situation and it should be in the hands of a true Jag lover. Almost all repairs and maintenance have been done. The car has a clean title and has never had any body work done to it. The leather is in great condition and still soft and supple. The carpets are in A+ condition as are the factory floormats. The XJR sitting at 64k is just broken in and ready for the next 5-10 years of driving. All maintenance has been completed in the last few months, including the often failing and expensive to replace dual fuel pumps. The secondary tensioners were changed out 1k miles ago and Jaguar valve cover gaskets were used so no leaks what so ever. At the same time new plugs and air filter were installed. Last month a fresh set of Continental ExtremeContact DW tires were installed. The wheels are in great shape with only a few minor scuffs on two of them and no peeling, see pics. Everything on the car works as it should, including all buttons and features and the car has no burnt out bulbs or illumination anywhere. There is only one small issue with the car that hasn't been addressed, there is a very small coolant leak from one of the hoses. It has not been tracked down yet, so the car requires about 20oz of coolant to to it off every 500 miles or so. This should be a very easy fix. This is really a pristine example of this car. Jaguar XKE was ordered from the USA in 1972, and purchased in Coventry in 1973. At time of delivery in England, it was driven around Great Britain and to Paris, Frankfurt, and Russia. The XKE then returned to Frankfurt, and shipped from France back to the USA. It has been a California car, and driven periodically for thirty-five years. The longest journey taken from the Bay Area was the occasional Tahoe trip. The Jaguar lived garaged in Mill Valley, CA for forty years with the original owner! In 1985, he became ill, and stopped driving the XKE. The Jaguar remained in the family and maintained, but only driven occasionally around Mill Valley, until purchased and the restoration commenced by the current owner three to four years. During the last four years, the Jaguar has been driven less than 400 miles. The restoration Includes:Cleaning of fuel lines and tank.Replacement of numerous electrical parts and wiring for interior dash and switches and instrumentation.New Battery.Replacing all Leads and spark plugs.Removal and full restoration of all four Carburetors.Sandblasting and repainting air filters in original Jag Dapple Grey.Restoration of interior front seats, and headliner.Replacing both rear vision mirrors.Replacing both from seat belts and inertial units.Full paint job changing from original Taupe to Jaguar Old English White.Replacement of all the exterior rubber window seals around doors and front window removed to replace rubber.Re Chromed various bumper bars and replaced Rubber Cushions on front Bumper.Brakes Reconditioned.Shock Absorbers replaced.A/C fully reconditioned and upgraded to new USA compliance standards.
