I am the second, non,smoking owner of this porcelain white 2010 Jaguar XF with a 5.0L V8 engine. I purchased it from Barrett Jaguar in San Antonio, TX with about 50,000 miles on the odometer, and it now has about 72,000 miles on it. The factory warranty is in place up until 100,000 miles, or the end of March 2016. It is transferrable, so you can buy with confidence - it is the same warranty that comes with a brand new car. Roadside assistance is also part of the warranty, in case that is ever needed. Michelin Pilot Sport tires all around. The front tires are brand new, and the rear tires have less than 15K miles on them. Warranted by Discount Tire, with lifetime balance and repair. Battery is just over a year old, and under warranty for almost two more years. All air filters (engine and cabin) recently replaced. All service has been done at Barrett Jaguar, and I have all the service records. The oil was recently changed, and all changes are up-to-date. The vehicle has also been recently inspected. Two keys will come with the car, as well as two sets of floor mats. This is probably the best road car I've ever owned. I tried BMW, Infinity, Lexus, Porsche, and several others, before coming back to this one to make it my daily driver for the last two years. Noticeably more comfortable and easier to handle than the others. Incredibly quiet and smooth. And when you need the power to pass, it's got plenty. It's got all the bells and whistles, too. Navigation display, touch screen for audio and climate control (with buttons on the dash for most functions, with immediate access), automatic Bluetooth cell phone connection, satellite radio, rear view camera with radio proximity parking aids front and rear, keyless entry, heated and cooled seats, voice-activated controls, blind spot alert indicators in the side-view mirrors, iPhone and USB connections, dynamic stability control, and tire pressure monitoring system, among others. The vehicle can be test-driven and picked up locally, or if you like, I can help arrange transport to a remote location. Since I have purchased a couple of cars from eBay myself, I know this aspect can be somewhat intimidating. To give you an idea of the cost, the last time I purchased a vehicle from a location in Virginia, the cost to deliver to my home was about $800. I would imagine the cost to transport this vehicle is in that range. If you are comfortable with it, I would be willing to drive the car to cities within a few hundred miles of San Antonio, TX. I purchased this 2002 Jaguar X-Type as a not running car and "as is", which I had no problem with. But and thats a real big BUT, I later found out the seller did not disclose a few other things wrong with it. I had the intentions of finishing it for my wife. My wife expressed to me politely "You need to get me in a car now instead of spending time on that piece ......"! So I'm selling it. I will disclose everything I know that is wrong or have figured out and fixed on the car. I will also answer questions, so please ask. Here is the problems(disclosed & undisclosed) I purchased the car with: Disclosed Not running(According to the seller it had been driven & running within the last week before I purchased the car)No battery(I believe it got damaged in the accident) Paint goodSmall door dings & dentsTires goodClear TitleInterior was goodUndisclosedHad been in a minor front end accident. Front bumper cover was damaged & replaced, fog/driving lights & brackets were missing. Cover had been painted.Lower grille was missing.Side marker lights were missing.The harness to the above lights was missing.Both headlight adjuster sets were broken.ABS light was on.Missing front driver side wheel well splash shield.Windshield was cracked.Engine had been replaced(which is not a bad thing).Small engine oil leak.Custom upper grille on it.(not a bad thing)Tires are just for holding air(very bad shape).Headliner sagging.Hood damage.Driver door speaker not working.(a extra speaker in with the car, not installed)This is a list of what I have done Replaced bad MAF with a new aftermarket unit.Checked SRS system, found that airbags were not deployed and has no codes or lights indicating that they had been. Checked for front frame damage, found no frames or supports were damaged.Installed the fog/driving lights, side marker lights & harness(all working correctly).Installed headlight adjusters(used a upgraded stronger kit)(all working correctly).Install a custom lower grille to match the main grille.(looks very nice)Installed upper & lower intake gaskets, injector o rings & a few other o rings.Installed a used fuel pressure sensor/regulator.(old unit is not bad)New front licence plate holder.(not installed yet)Replaced LF wheel speed sensor with aftermarket new.(sensor was bad)Replaced center armrest.(leather was cracked)Replaced 2 coils.(misfire codes)Replaced all 6 spark plugs.(misfire codes)Ran a compression & leak down test on engine.(passed with flying colors)Ran a chemical block test on the cooling system(passed with flying colors)I did all the engine repairs because of codes & not running. I got it running & have been able to drive it. I manage to eliminate most of the codes. Still have the following codes:ABS code P1155 or C1155 depending on how your scanner reads it. The signal goes & comes, which puts it into continuous antilock for the LF sensor & then sets the code. I think it has a break in a wire to the abs module & is not making contact all the time.Powertrain code P0171 Bank 1 too lean & P0175 Bank 2 too rich.I get these only when it has been at idle for some time. LT trim & ST trim goes to their max limits which then sets the codes. I believe there is a fuel rich/lean problem at idle. I have not been able to drive it any distance yet due to the tires & tags are expired. I am not going to spend the money on either at this point just to see if this is a real problem. Drove around the block a few times, maybe 3 miles total. The car may just need to be driven, I don't know. Repairs Needed:Figure out the codes above & repair.(I have a code scanner specific to this car that you can buy for the $170 I paid for it if you want it)Replace the windshield.Replace tires & maybe 1 wheel(cosmetics)Repair or replace hood, repaint.Replace burnt out front bulbs. Replace splash shield if you want to.Replace lower bumper splash shield if you want to.Paint match front end.Replace headliner.Repair oil leak.(I have not looked at this)Install replacement door speaker.(I have not looked at this, It does have the cd changer in the trunk, I don't know if it works)Clean trunk mat, has a white stain on it.Replace tintReplace battery. You will need to bring a battery to drive it up on your trailer. Battery in picture is not included!From the short distance & time I drove the car, the trans shifted good in regular & sport mode, everything inside worked.This is a nice car, I just have to let it go.
