The car has been in my possession for approximately 1000 miles. I don't ever drive it so am looking to free up my garage. I love the car and don't want to sell it but it's not practical. The damage from when it was salvage was from a previous owner and has all been replaced. The picture of the paint scuff on the corner of the bumper was from the previous owner. Looks like he just backed in to something. It does need a new ECM which I found several places online that do repair and rebuilds on those for a little under $300. It idles around 1400-1600 rpm now. The car is clean, well maintained and runs great.

Very nice condition, with only 68,786 well maintained miles. This has been my weekend and go to the golf course car for the last few years. My wife and I are retired in a resort area in northwest Iowa/southern Minnesota and drive it on nice days only. The paint and body are in excellent shape and the color combination is understated class with silver blue body, navy top, ivory and beige interior. The car has 3 keys, 2 fobs, books, boot cover with bag, spare, jack etc. The interior looks like a new car, the body is very nice with a clear bra on the front so no rock chips. The top is near perfect, the tires are good to go for a long time. I have had zero trouble with this car in 2 years and about 10,000 miles. I purchased the car from the Victory/Indian motorcycle dealer in Elizabethtown PA. I live in the Spirit Lake area where Victory/Indian are manufactured. My next door neighbor was very high up with Polaris and told me about the car. I have the car checked over at every oil change (every 3000 miles with synthetic) I would be happy for you to speak with the service center that has serviced it for me if you are a truly interested party. The reason I am selling is that after many years of owning Jaguars (23 total), I am going through the bucket list age now. I think Ann Margret is out of the picture so I am acquiring an Aston Martin. Will be hard to find a world class performance automobile at this price point, from the well crafted leather interior to the too many to list features, creature comforts and technology that this car has. At nearly 400 HP I still average about 20mpg city and highway mix. This is a well cared for auto with good Jaguar dealer service history and runs like a top. Many safety features: Front, side and overhead airbags, anti whiplash head restrains to protect from rear collision forces, seatbelts that automatically tighten during collision to keep occupant in optimal position Adaptive cruise control that automatically slows down and speeds up to match the vehicle your following (I didn't know how much I would like this feature!) Factory Alpine stereo 6 speed automatic transmission Traction control Anit-lock brakes with nearly new pads all the way around, and this car stops VERY impressively Nearly new matching rubber at all corners. Up for sale is a 1984 Jaguar XJ6 with a parts car. Overall car is in really good condition. I bought car from guy who had done all the welding of the usual rust spots on these cars. Bodywork will need finished over some of it. Car was originally charcoal but is being converted to black. Car obviously was taken apart for this reason. Several major pieces of the car have been painted with black already. I like the black color so was planning on leaving it that way. Here is run down on car: - all seats have been redone. Is is simulated leather and just dirty in pics from garage dust -gas tanks have been cleaned and treated for rust. not installed yet. - motor turns over easily (battery not included) -have not inspected brakes but they work when moving car around driveway -Uline box in pic is full of all new rubber seals for car -passenger doors have been etched in and hung (need adjusted) -door panel vinyl covering is good but backer is not. Was going to use 1/4" board to make new ones -back glass original and just set in place for pic. -windshield is brand new -no headliner but have headliner base -carpet decent -tires will need replaced -dash cover and back window valance in great condition Parts car is a 1984 and is just that - a parts car. Several body panels were used on the other car. Ignition hacked up so I cant try to start car to check engine on this one. It is great reference car to put other one back together. I bought to be my daily driver. I had tried selling some of my other project cars and they didn't sell so this has to go. Car is in great condition for someone to finish and have a nice ride. The owner of the vehicle left the convertible top down when it was raining. It didn't do any damage to the seats but the convertible top wasn't working. We took it to the dealership and they replaced the luggage separator switch and also installed a new luggage separater. It works fine, completely fixed. Also, The dash pad cover has retracted (as photographerd) and needs to be restretched and reglued. Other than that, the car drives beautifully, no other problems I can see there is a minor scrape on the rear bumper.  It's a beautiful color and the interior is really nice.
