I am selling this car for the second owner who is a friend and client, his failing health is the reason for its sale. A lovely very good driving survivor this is a two owner car owned by a master British Mechanic who maintained the car for the original owner and then bought the car from them over 30 years ago.The good In body engine overhaul some years back, rebuilt and highly polished carbs, and intake nicely detailed engine. trans is original and works fine and not leaking. suspension is all tight and brakes are excellent having been rebuilt a few years back. New exhaust. excellent tires.The interior is all original except for some leading edge panel replacement. The wood inside is all in very nice original condition. All gauges and accessories work as they should.Many parts have been replaced over the years and the car has been a regular crowd favorite at shows. The car starts easily and runs well and idles like it is supposed to,no smoke, excellent oil pressure and drives like it should. Paint is original and getting a bit thin in a few places from years of polish and waxing. shows quite well The badthe original door edge seals need to be replacedone gas tank was removed and cleaned and re installed, but the second one still needs to be done... the owner is just not physically in good enough shape to do this work.so the car is currently running off a remote tank installed in the trunk.
