Jaguar XJ6Series II1974 4.2 straight six sedan in spectacular condition & presentation This a really pretty XJ6 Jaguar sedan out-fitted in Sable (which I affectionately like to call "UPS brown"!) with honey tan leather interior. The overall combination presents very elegantly indeed. This particular Jaguar was delivered new in California where it resided for about half its life, then about 10 years in Texas and the last remaining years in Seattle with a senior British car enthusiast. As a result, she is completely "dry" without even a spec of rust or scale. Her condition is quite amazing. The body on this car is very straight and never been in any accident. Looking under the hood and trunk is very evident of its originality. Its hard to tell with the exterior paint but it too appears to be mostly original and, if not, only subject to small touch-ups. There are marks & chips here and there from normal use and you can see in certain light evidence of 70s style adhesive side mouldings having been removed on the doors. Otherwise, the paint is consistent and lustrous. There is no fading or major blemishes. There are no signs of rust at the typical places below the front and rear windows. The underside is clean and dry. The interior of the car is in fantastic condition with excellent Connolly hide leather upholstery finished in the Biscuit tan which is perhaps better described as a "warm ochre" colour. The leather is in outstanding condition with just the right amount of patina giving the car a very nice classic look. The headrests are firmly padded and the back of the front seats were refinished in correct matching fabric as per factory specifications. All the wood on the dash is in superb condition. The wood lacquer is in a satin finish, without any lifting and the wood presents beautifully. Compared to the average example it way exceeds and I would rate it 10 out of 10. There is no typical sagging in the headlining. It appears to have been replaced at some stage. The carpet is in excellent shape and is the original fitment. The satin finish of the light mahogany wood in this example blends beautifully with the tan hides – making the interior of this car very rich and inviting. All interior chrome finishes are nice. Overall she looks wonderful with a great British classic look. Interior features and functions are operational including electrics – windows, gauges, lights etc. The A/C needs recommissioning . Everything is generally very clean and crisp. The chrome, stainless steel and bright work finishes are all good without any pitting and the rubber around the car is fine. Especially the US spec bumpers which are normally all sun beaten and damaged. Mechanically, the car is good condition and the spectacularly clean and original presentation under the bonnet clearly shows that. Exhaust is good with the correct looking exhaust tips fitted. Recent work included a rebuild of the head after an identified head gasket leak (cost: $3,000). The car is fitted with a set of period correct looking Firestone 215/70-15 whitewall tires. These are brand new with 100% tread. This is a Jaguar that appears to be free of their usual nuances and typical issues of its age. The 91,500 miles is not verifiable but everything about the car certainly supports it and, in fact, presents as a much lower mileage example. This is a 9 out of 10 driver example that would make for a gorgeous “weekender” - one that you could take to your next Jaguar meet with pride and joy. You would find it hard pressed to find another in equivalent condition. Please take the time to look at the photo link below to many additional photos where I have endeavored to capture how pretty this car is. Please feel free to ask any and all questions you may have as it is an as-is auction. ~~ Being a significantly well-above average example of an XJ6 Jaguar, this will bring a good value and is priced accordingly. Notwithstanding, sensible offers are welcomed. ~~ Please see additional photos at the link below. Click HERE to see many individual photos Click HERE to see many individual photos **PLEASE read auction terms and conditions below BEFORE bidding.** Please note, the $2,000 up-front deposit is a key part of the auction terms and must be paid within 24 hours. If not paid, or if no contact is received within that period, we reserve the right to cabcel the purchase or offer the car to any other party without notice.~~The vehicle is being sold "as-is/where-is" with no warranty expressed, written or implied. Any descriptions or representations are made with reasonable judgment and all efforts are made to ensure fair assessment and accuracy but they are for descriptive and identification purposes only and are not to be construed as a warranty of any type. The seller shall not be responsible for errors in description, authenticity, genuineness, or defects herein and makes no warranty in connection therewith. If any aspect of the description contradicts what can be seen in the photos, then the photos shall prevail as the reference point. No allowance or set aside will be made on account of any incorrectness, unforeseen imperfection, defect or damage. It is the responsibility of the buyer to have satisfied himself as to the condition and value and to bid based upon that judgment solely. The seller shall and will make every reasonable effort to disclose any known defects at the buyer’s request prior to the close of the auction. Seller assumes no responsibility for any repairs regardless of any written or oral statements about the vehicle. Being a classic car in excess of 10 years of age, in most US states, the mileage may be recorded as “exempt”. In this regard the seller makes no warranties as to the accuracy of the mileage indicated or shown. I can hold the vehicle up to 30 days while you arrange shipping but you must immediately insure it. I will not bear any responsibility for any additional costs including storage, transportation, or repair after the close of the auction. Whereas I am happy to store the car in excess of 30 days from auction end, a cost of $35 per day shall apply beyond 30 days of auction end. Also, you must remember that this is a 42 year old vehicle, and while it is up to you, I do not recommend you just “hop in and drive it across the country” until you have familiarised yourself with the car. At least, I have never done that. I have always professionally transported the cars in enclosed carriers from where I bought them to my home. This Jaguar is part of a private collection. Although licensed and bonded, I am not a main-stream retail car dealer or broker; I am a professional car collector of some 35 years with considerable experience and knowledge of British cars. I have a long standing reputation being associated with the Rolls-Royce marque which I take seriously. I take pride in my cars and have fun in collecting and restoring them. However, auctions are not a game so when you place a bid or offer, and you are the winning bidder, please understand you have entered a binding contract. You cannot bid and win the auction and expect not to meet the terms and conditions. Bidding and/or winning does not mean you are expecting me to “hold” the car until you have the opportunity to inspect it. Any inspection contemplated should be undertaken BEFORE you bid or make an offer and I openly welcome any potential buyer to come and personally inspect the car. Once you bid or make an offer, you are doing so to buy WITHOUT conditions. Your bid can not be subject to anything. A $2000.00 deposit (non-refundable) is required within 24 hours of the close of the auction and payable by PayPal. The balance of funds are required within 7 days of the close of the auction and must be provided by cashier’s check or bank wire. I cannot accept PayPal for the balance unless you are willing to meet the cost of transfer fees. Full payment must be made (and payments cleared) before the title and/or the vehicle is released. All payments are non-refundable. Payments as described above form an important part of this purchase contract and so, if all the funds are not received as outlined above, I reserve the right to terminate the transaction without notice. If there has been any deposit or other part payments received and I elect to terminate the contract, I reserve the right to keep any such deposits or payments and resell the vehicle to another bidder or interested party or re-list the vehicle at any time. To be clear, if you change your mind for ANY reason and do not complete the transaction in the time-frame required, you will forfeit your deposit. I am happy to assist with shipping arrangements on a national and worldwide basis but the winning bidder takes full responsibility for pickup and/or shipping and at his cost. As a collector and experienced restorer of a range of classic cars, I make every effort to bring my cars to a high standard. By comparison, my cars are generally superior to others available but they are by no means perfect. You must expect some issues. Unless specifically stated, the car is not of show standard but of nice "driver" condition. Please understand, show cars cost hundreds of thousands of dollars to achieve and sell for prices commensurate, so the sale price of this car reflects its relative condition. You are buying "condition" accordingly. Buyers should not expect to receive concours quality or "perfect" cars at these prices. Please also understand it is not always possible to attend to every item, or perhaps I may have inadvertently overlooked items. Further, and very importantly, these cars are not new. So this means a 42 year old car is predominantly comprised of 42 year old parts. And old parts will fail. All buyers must understand and expect that things can or will wear out, break and/or stop functioning without notice. This is even more likely with hand-built English cars of early technology when compared to the typical American car of the same vintage. Suspension and brakes on these cars are complex. We thoroughly check them and replace things that are identified faulty. But please understand, by example; if we change a brake line because it appears aged or faulty, we do NOT at the same time replace all other hoses because they are of similar age. This is considered "preventative maintenance". We do not do this unless specifically requested and is not included in the purchase price. Feel free to ask for this additional service. Further, a feature or function that is working perfectly one moment, may decide to play-up the next. After all, it is some 42 years old. This is the nature of any used car and especially classic/old British cars. For this reason it is necessary for the following condition: PLEASE; IF YOU ARE UNABLE TO ABIDE BY THESE TERMS, CONTACT ME BEFORE YOU CONTEMPLATE DOING SO AS, RESPECTFULLY, THERE CAN BE NO EXCEPTIONS.I am sorry if these terms seem harsh but there seem to be some very unrealistic buyers out there - fortunately, only few of these people exist but those that do can make life difficult, so it appears EVERYTHING needs to spelled out. Very simply put, this is an old car being offered for sale. It is not new and is subject to the perils of age. Further, Jaguars are not without nuances, idiosyncrasies and they are renown for a host of design issues which can make them not inexpensive to maintain. So, please respect the terms and conditions when you bid. ~~oo00oo~~

JaguarXJSHess & Eisenhardt convertible 1988 Gorgeous presentation with low miles Really nice Jaguar XJS convertible finished in Slate grey (charcoal metallic) with dove grey leather interior and only 66,000 miles. The whole car is in overall very nice clean condition. This is a limited production Hess & Eisenhardt (1 of 893 cars built). Hess & Eisenhardt built these convertibles under contract from Jaguar from 1986 thru to 1988, this being one of the last. The open roof styling of these cars with a very "flat appearance" is considered a lot more attractive than the later Jaguar built convertibles. This is the 5.3-litre V12 HE engine which factory delivered some 270HP in the US. This cars seems to have been "horse-power improved" delivering considerable more get up and go than a typical XJS (read below). The interior of this example is lovely with everything presenting clean and tidy. The seats are perfect which is unusual for the XJS as typically they are dry, hard and cracked. The leather is original and nice without any stains, tears or rips There are no cracks in the dash top, console or armrests, the carpets and headliner are clean. The burl walnut wood throughout is very nice with only some hairline cracking in the clear finish on the passenger side dash and around the gear shifter. Those on the doors are like brand new. The interior truly presents very nice and needs nothing for daily driving and enjoyment. The paint is in great overall condition with only very minor imperfections. It is very shiny and consistent and presents perfectly for driver use. This is a Michigan car for the last 10 years that has never seen snow or salt. There is no under body rust or scale whatsoever. The car is completely accident free. On a scale out of 10, I would rate the body a 10 and the paint as an easy 9. The convertible top is in excellent original condition without any tears or frays. The rear glass is clean without scratches. The electric operation is working as it should as are the latches. Mechanically the car is very sound. The car drives smooth, strong and quietly. Interestingly, the awesome power of the car suggests some things have been tweaked as she really gets up goes. The obvious change is the fitment of a performance air intake kit but my guess is there has been more (not sure if "power chips" were implemented on these cars). The original intake housings are with the car. Recent maintenance included brake inspection, fluids, light-tune, radiator hoses and general service & safety inspection. Tyres are top quality Michelin 215/70s with plenty of tread. The A/C is not connected. All features and functions; windows, seats, mirrors all work correctly. The car has a perfectly clean AutoCheck report. This is a way above average Jaguar XJS which is in fantastic condition for a fun weekender car. I would describe it close to "immaculate". It far exceeds average condition examples and comfortably rates as a virtual 10 out of 10 driver condition which earns it regular compliments. You could easily drive this car to your next Jaguar meet with great pride and attract attention. I drove this Jaguar convertible all last summer and have had my fun. If I was a wealthy man, I would store her for winter and use her again next year! ~~ This XJS Jaguar is in excellent condition and makes for a wonderful special occasions driver and for Jaguar events. ~~ Interesting info about the Hess & Eisenhardt convertible: The Hess & Eisenhardt convertible differed from the later Jaguar convertible XJS as its unpadded top folded down deeper into the body structure of the car resulting in a cleaner rear profile when the roof was lowered. To accommodate this design element, the Hess & Eisenhardt convertibles have two separate fuel tanks, positioned to allow for the roof to fully retract. The process of converting the stock Jaguar XJS coupé into the H&E Convertible included the post-production removal of the roof, cutting the body in several sections, the addition of steel reinforcements behind the driver's seat, and 20 lb (9.1 kg) weights placed just behind the headlights to eliminate harmonic resonance caused by the significant modifications to the car. H&E XJS convertibles are easily identified by the lower folding top, as well as two small badges located just behind the front wheels. The later Jaguar full convertible had a heavier padded top that did not fold into as small a bundle when in the lowered position, but retained nearly all of the original components of the coupé. Jaguar XJ6Series I1973 4.2 straight six sedan in spectacular condition & presentation TThis a really pretty XJ6 Jaguar sedan out-fitted in Old English White (Ivory colour) with Russet red Connolly hide interior. The overall combination presents very elegantly indeed. This particular Jaguar was delivered new in California where it resided for about 25 years. It had a brief stint in Colorado and then the rest of its life in Texas. As a result, she is completely "dry" without even a spec of rust or scale. Her condition is amazing. The body on this car is very straight and never been in any accident or repair. Looking under the hood and trunk is very evident of its originality. Its hard to tell with the exterior paint but it too appears to be original and, if not, could only have been subject to minor touch-ups. There are some minor little marks/chips here and there from normal use and you can see in certain light evidence of 70s style adhesive side mouldings having been removed on the doors, but this is only under close inspection. Otherwise, the paint is consistent and lustrous. There is no checking, fading or cracking. The underside is clean and dry.The interior of the car is in great condition with excellent Connolly hide leather upholstery finished in the Russet red which is perhaps better described as a "burnt orange" colour. The leather has a wonderful patina to it giving the car a very nice classic look. The front seats have the burnished appearance of an antique chesterfield leather lounge. I love this look but if you are a perfectionist and like leather to look "new" (like the rear seats), let me know as our company is one of the leaders in leather reconnolising. I can have it redone at no charge. All the wood on the dash is original and in very good condition. There are a couple of minor hairline cracks but this is not glaringly obvious. The wood and lacquer finish is shiny, without any lifting and the wood presents beautifully. Compared to the average example it way exceeds and I would rate it 9 out of 10. There is no sagging or marks in the headlining. It appears to be relatively new. The carpet is in excellent shape and is the original fitment. With the car comes a set of tailormade overlays which are almost a perfect match. The glossy finish of the rich wood in this example contrasts beautifully with the Russet red hides – making the interior of this car very rich and inviting. All interior chrome finishes are nice. Overall she looks wonderful with a nice classic patina look.Interior features and functions are operational including electrics – windows, gauges, lights etc. The A/C needs recharging but is fully functioning (guaranteed!) - we will get it right at delivery. Everything is generally clean and crisp. The chrome, stainless steel and bright work finishes are all good without any pitting and the rubber around the car is fine.Mechanically, the car is good condition and the spectacularly clean and original presentation under the bonnet clearly shows that. Exhaust is good with the correct looking exhaust tips fitted. The car is fitted with a set of period correct looking Dunlop Elite 225/70-15 whitewall tires (with some 80-90% tread). This is a Jaguar that appears to be free of their usual nuances and typical issues of its age. The 59,500 miles is not verifiable but everything about the car certainly supports it and presents as a low mileage example. If not paid, or if no contact is received within that period, we reserve the right to cabcel the purchase or offer the car to any other party without notice.~~~~oo00oo~~ The vehicle is being sold "as-is/where-is" with no warranty expressed, written or implied. ~~oo00oo~~

Jaguar V-12 L(Long Wheel Base)1996Totally original & excellent condition with low miles! This is a "like-new" first of the model run Jaguar V-12 Long Wheel Base ("L") sedan finished in Sage green metallic over light moss green Connolly hide leather with darker sage green accents on the dash, door cappings and carpet. The waistrail is finished with a hand-painted fine-line in deep Sherwood green. The colour combination is quite rare and looks stunning. You will also see in the photos the colour changes hue in different lighting which is truly beautiful. This XJ-12 is a 2 owner from new (second owner from 1997) and now showing some 99,000 odd miles*. The car has a clean and high scoring AutoCheck report. The XJ-12 L is the ultimate of the XJ series (X-300) and represents the top of the line in luxury for Jaguar in its year. This one is indeed a very well looked after example that is totally original in presentation and, in fact, displays nicer in real-life than you see in the photos. The XJ-12 was distinguished from its siblings by the individual styled seats, full leather interior (including door arm-rests, map-pockets console, etc), unique burl-walnut wood and teak fine lines on the dash and door cappings. It has rear seat picnic tables (also with teak in-lays), full length console to the rear, additional chrome, additional courtesy lights, all of which are unique fitments to the V-12 series. Also unique to long wheel base V12 is the front passenger seat switch adjustable by the driver. This was designed in chauffeur situations where the driver could move the passenger seat forward to provide maximum comfort to its rear seat passenger. The interior of this example is in impeccable condition with the burl walnut absolutely stunning without any fading or blemishes. The clear lacquer finish on the wood has only a few small hairline marks on the driver door (not objectionable but mentioned out of "clear disclosure") but is otherwise perfect. The Connolly hide leather seats are factory condition soft and supple with no stains, wear marks or tears. The headliner is slightly drooping in the back (which is a common thing for Jaguars) but otherwise clean and stain free. There are no cracks in the dash or rear parcel shelf. The centre console cup-holder which normally breaks has been replaced with a new one and works perfectly. The steering wheel is perfect with no wear. The interior truly is stunning, is like new and even smells "brand new".The paint is almost entirely original and in very good condition with only minor little stone chips and small marks. It is very shiny and consistent and presents perfectly for driver use. On a scale out of 10, I would rate the paint as an easy 9. The body is rust free; top and bottom with no bubbling around the windows or wheel arches which is generally common. The car sports a Vanden Plas grill simply because I prefer the look. The correct and original V12 grill is available for refitment if this is what you prefer.Mechanically the car is very sound with brand new "pin-stripe" whitewall tyres mounted on chrome optioned factory rims. The car drives ultra smooth, strong and quietly. Recent maintenance included, new rear shocks, suspension bushings, oil line hose changes and brake service, a general service and safety inspection. There are no warning lights on the dash and all is good to go. The A/C blows ice-cold with the heater nice and toasty. The clock display does not have its back light working but every other single instrument, feature and function are in working condition. The cars is so very original that the original spare Pirelli tyre and chrome alloy wheel has never been used. This is an immaculate Jaguar XJ-12L with good miles and makes for an excellent everyday or weekend driver. It far exceeds average condition examples and comfortably rates as a virtual 10 out of 10 driver condition which earns it regular compliments. ~~ This V-12 Long Wheel Base top of the line Jaguar is in stunning original condition and makes for a wonderful everyday driver at a relatively affordable price. ~~ Please see additional photos at the link below.
