Named after the famous British track where Jaguar experienced so much success. it shares a similar drive-train as the normal XKR.In addition to badging and special inside trim, the difference comes in the handling department with 20" wheels, lowered and stiffer suspension with beefed up antiroll bar, and larger crossdrilled Brembo brakes. Most of these where developed for the XK180 concept car and are available in Europe as dealer installed option under the R performance Option designation. As of October 2000, they are expected in the US but not available yet.Production wise, Jaguar originally announced a limited run of 50 convertible and 50 coupes for the home market in march 2000. Later on, another series of 200 ( 175 convertible and 25 coupe ) was announced for the US market and started arriving at dealership in October 2000. While MSRP for the convertible is close to $ 100 000, most if not all dealers are actually asking well over sticker due to the limited production.I am well aware that NADA does not list this car in their standard section. You have to go to NADA classics, and select 2001 Jaguar. The Silverstone is the ONLY option that comes up. Look at the low retail values, which START at 23000 dollars, then check ebay and CL (good luck finding another real Silverstone). My price is by far the lowest you will ever get this car for. So please, no dreamers or lowballers. Bring cash and be ready to make a deal.

She has decided she wants something smaller and more "girly" whatever the hell that means.. So I am going to sell it, buy my muscle car project or finish the one I have, and she can go buy a VW or some other turd of a car. Lol.Anyways, my Jaguar is for sale to the highest bidder. The car is flawless and has everything you could want and some things you didn't know you wanted until now. Only 200 silverstone Jaguars were built. Here are the details. Many of these features are unique to the XKR silverstone edition;1. This is a supercharged v8 XKR, with even more highly tunes computer, making 420hp.Runs perfect, with no check engine codes or nonsense2. I have a fresh smog report that goes with car3. A souped up automatic transmission unique to the Silverstone XKR4. A beefier rear differential than on a normal XKR5. Improved suspension, steering and brakes.Black ostrich leather seats with red stitching6. Birds eye maple inlay in the dash, unique to the silverstone7. 20 inch BBS factory wheels, again these only came on this special car.8. Brand new Continental tires front and back9.lowered 1.5 inches 10. Full size spare with tool kit, and all manuals for the car11. The tags are current and good until OCt 201612. The heater works awesome and the AC blows ice cold.13. An 8 speaker surround system that ROCKSI could go on and on... But the pictures speak for themselves. Only 75 convertible Silverstone cars were made.
