Remarkably RARE factory IH Shortbed 4X4 3/4 ton CA truck. This thing is a tank. Stout yet smooth riding, turns on a dime, and has survived extremely well. Miles are believed to be original based on condition. When was the last time you saw one of these? The best part is it's in tip top, turn key condition. A blast to drive, I have been driving it since I got it. So easy to drive, and surprisingly comfortable....everything works, including the A/C which has been updated.The 392 motor runs like a sewing machine with all kinds or torque. Newer carb and recent full service including new carb and valve cover gaskets. Doesn't leak, smoke, or fuss. Just a great running motor (see brief video below).The Automatic Transmission shifts smooth and sure. No noticeable leaks and is issue free.The 4wd, locking hubs and transfer case are in good working order, also with no noticeable (at least to the warehouse floor) leaks.Exterior is just amazing with only 2 very small rust spots (1" area under driver side windshield, and 3" area under driver side rear bumper), both are pictured in the link below. Doors open and shut with barely a touch. Extremely rattle free with many OEM seals replaced over the years and a new windshield. Very nice original trim and good chrome.Interior is also very nice, complete and still has it's original WORKING clock! All lights (interior and exterior), high and low beams, blinkers, wipers, heater, a/c, indicator lights, auxiliary tanks switch, radio, horn, etc work correctly. Excellent original glass and windows roll up and down effortlessly. Good dash but with the speaker grill cracking, new dash cover included. Headliner and visors are very nice. New IH rubber floor. No rust in here!Frame and chassis are extremely solid and rust free. No freeway wander or lose steering.Good power brakes with newer power booster.Smooth, effortless power steering.Inside bed is very straight. Excellent tailgate. Paint on the entire truck is very shiny and presentable still, however the bed rails show some age (fade/clear flaking).Tires are brand new Goodyear Wranglers. NOS, NLA IH hubcaps, Steel 7X16 8 lug wheels w/chrome lugs.Truck gets a lot of attention. Very unique, and likely the best surviving condition unit available today.
