Fresh off the farm. I went to go get a 60 F100 and wound up bringing this home instead. Truck looks very original, has a 6cyl, automatic, which was unheard of in trucks back then. It is very solid. It has some surface rust but not anything completely through On the drivers floor there is some light rust that could be replaced or POR 15'd. Look at the pictures. The worst spot I found is the cab corner on drivers side and it will be the last picture.The truck appears to have been sitting since the late 80's. Being that it has light wear and the lack of dents inside the bed. and automatic I suspect this was the farmer's wife's pickup. Truck was last titled in Kansas in 88 and has an open title. I am not sure of the actual miles but guessing under 100K by looking at it. Has 4 hubcaps though not all are original. Truck can stay here for 90 days (if more time is need just let me know in advance) I am not responsible for weather related damages (ie tornado , hail etc). Tires all hold air and rolls easily. I put a battery in it and did get the motor to turn over. Great patina The inside of the bed shows very little use, The bad:both door glasses need replaced though cheap and flat, passenger fender/bumper has some damage see picture.(I may have one located) The truck doesn't run at moment. Missing the generator and ash tray. Last 2 pictures show the worst damage on the truck.. This is a 1959 International Harvester Metro Mite Step Van this particular one is a Rare Left hand drive model. Most were Right hand Drive because they were used as mail carriers. The van is complete minus only the Carburetor and Glass. All trim is accounted for. It is a RWD 4 Cyl truck. The van has an amazing patina but is still very solid, floors are good, roof is good, the only rot is in the rocker panels (see pics) Van doesnt run and was last tagged in 1979. Safe to assume its been off the road since around then. Does roll and steer well. Factory wheels are included as well as the alloy wheels and low profile tires that fit the van perfectly. NO TITLE.
