- International Harvester Purpose Built Simplicity!- Sturdy, Post War Work Truck!- Dual Rear Tires!- Inline 6 Cylinder!- Manual Transmission!MotoeXotica Classic Cars is pleased to offer this 1948 International Harvester KB3 Stakebed Pickup Truck! International Harvester pickup trucks were among the best built and most stylish of their era, which explains why there was such a high demand after World War II. The truck was styled for functionality and esthetics. The KB3 was nearly perfect harmony between simplicity and purpose.Currently being sold as NO RESERVE! This truck is a hardy old farm truck. The body is in great shape while being sound. It is finished in red with a black stake bed and black running boards. The paint is in good shape however it does show some crazing along the fender and hood contours which is typical of an old farm truck. Overall, the paint does still show well. The front bumper has been painted tan and looks great. There is a little bit of minor pitting on some of the chrome and stainless but it does still show well. The black stakebed is in good shape and houses the external main fuel tank. Overall, this is a pretty handsome old pickup!Inside, the interior is simple. The black vinyl bench seat is in good condition, showing no major signs of imperfection. The door panels are color matched to the exterior of the truck and look great. The dashboard is also color matched to the exterior and houses an original set of gauges that still look great. It should be noted that the windshield is cracked on the passenger side, the windshield wipers are inoperable and the speedometer is also inoperable.Under the hood, you\'ll find a clean and tidy engine bay housing an Inline 6 Cylinder engine. Mated to the engine is a manual transmission, shifted through the floor. The transmission does grind while shifting between gears but it is due to the transmission not have synchros. The truck sits upon a set of 16\" tan and silver International wheels wrapped in 6.50-16LT tires with aggressive tread. The rear end is a dually so there are four wheels on the back axle. This truck would make an awesome farm truck or work truck. The VIN is 281050 and the mileage currently shows 66,313. It is being sold on a clean and clear Iowa title. GET OUT AND DRIVE!!! Ad provided by OldCarOnline.com/cond>
