1980 International Harvester S1700 Stake Bed Truck Here we have a super cool International available for your consideration. It is very hard to find one of these in this nice of shape. This truck has been very well taken care of over the years and is Originally from the State of Washington. You can still see the State of Washington logo/name on the doors. Please look at the photos and ask questions. Reserve is set well below value! Lots of money was just invested in the truck to add some items and rebuild engine etc. See below... CONDITION: Body is solid and rust free. Underside is dry and has only surface rust(See Photos) Hood is fiberglass and does have a small crack on Driver side Front Fender (very easy fix)Paint on cab is more than likely Original from when truck was put into service in the 80's. It is faded and thin. Cab is rust free. Cab corners are like new. Floors are solid. No issuesThe bed is in very good condition as wellTires are older but have lots of tread left (See Photos)Pass. rear tire does have some dry cracking but have not posed any issues for me. INTERIOR: Inside Cab is very clean. Seats are in very good condition with minimal wear. The Dash is cracked from sun fade.Floors are clean and rust free. Engine is a 404 V8 and has just been rebuilt. 5 SPEED MANUAL with @ SPEED REAR END The exhaust manifold had a crack so when the manifolds were replaced, the repair shop had to remove engine to get to bolts. Since this was being done, they suggested to rebuild the entire top end of the motor, so that is what has been done. Heads rebuilt with harden valve seats etc. New exhaust manifolds.This truck runs excellent. While that was done the brakes were also done.**NOTE** This truck has Manual drum brakes front and rear. It does take a strong leg to drive and stop it. Its a classic and old school in that department!Truck has 2 speed rear end. Power Steering works great. Very Fun to Drive this Old Truck!! As for the bed... Currently it has a wood box built around it to haul smaller items. With the truck will come the Original Stake Bed Rails but the there are only 4 of them. The others have disappeared over the years and will not be included with the sale obviously because they are missing. Truck has a 8,000 lbs winch installed. Also has a Custom Steel Fabricated Roller to mount on rear of Bed for the winch cable to roll over when pulling up a load. (See Photo) Truck also has Very Heavy Duty Quality Custom Built 12 FOOT Ramps that tuck nicely under the bed. These ramps can hold just about anything your can drive on to them. Another feature is the added Locking Tool Box which is Mounted under bed on drivers side. This box is Brand New and very good to store all your straps winch items and more. Has lock as well. Truck has Dual 30 Gallon Fuel Tanks too. Ok, I think I covered most of it. Feel free to Email Questions or to buy this truck.
